Pojo's Magic The Gathering
Card of the Day
Chris
Gerhardt |
Eh. 3
for a 1/2 wimp flyer. It's annoying at best. So
you tap something. When it's your opponent's turn,
it untaps... duh. So what? Best you
can do is tap something so you can attack. Not
worth it.

Lumengrid
Sentinel
A bad card in constructed and limited: being a
1/2 flyer with a pretty useless ability isn't
very good. He seems like tech, but he just
isn't.

Lumengrid Sentinel
In Constructed, this card is bad because Icy
Manipulator is just better mainly because this
dies to burn and because you have to cast an
artifact to use its ability, whereas Icy is 1
and tap. While you can use the Sentinel's
ability more then once per turn, you need a lot
of low casting cost artifacts, most which stink,
and that would take up space..... you're just
working too hard for nothing. Plus, Icy can
untap permanents too.
In Limited, if you can't find an Icy and you're
already going blue, go ahead and pick it. If
your opponent can't remove this card, it will
really annoy them.

Lumengrid
Sentinel
In constructed, this guy does have some
potential. The only problem is that the few
decks that can use it already have a large list
of cards on a waiting list tryin gto making it
into the deck. The ability could be useful if
there were more room.
In limited, he's a LOT better. This card is not
a superstar, but in a set with very few tempo
changing cards, this one helps.
