In serious constructed decks, Dragonspeaker Shaman won't make the cut due to the fact that most dragons probably don't make the cut. In casual constructed, this could be included though as dragons will be much more popular in that particular format. We sell a lot of these guys on our Website along with our dragons.

In limited, if you have a dragon, I would consider playing this guy. He's not a horrible creature in and of itself as a 2/2 for 3 mana. If you are lucky enough to get 2 dragons in limited, you definitely play it as long as you have the red to support it.

Limited: 3.25

A cost reducer on Dragons. Unfortunately, Dragons are just too slow, even with a reduced cost. In casual, this is fine. Otherwise, skip it. In both constructed and limited.

In constructed its not that good unless your play some kind of Vegis/Dragon deck in block. In limited its just a bad morph unless your playing several dragons to make it worth your time, but that should and most likely never happen.

Limited: 1.5

Ok, first off, I want so say one thing. This card does not make Dragonstorm
or Day of the Dragons cost 2 less! I have gotten into so many fights with
people who argue that it does. "Dragon spells you play cost 2 less to play"
The {dragon spells} refers to cards that are dragon type. It does not refer
to cards with "dragon" in its name. The type is printed directly under the
card art. If "dragon" isn't printed there, it is not a {dragon spell}

OK, now on to the review : )
Dragons are big and..well.BIG. And if you're not careful, they'll eat ya. A
card that lets you get those beast sticks out even faster is great. I would
say RG dragon decks with mana acceleration are better then RB. Dragonspeaker
Shaman, elves, land search cards let you get those dragons out fast. And, I
have to say Kev Walker did wonderful on this art, like always.

Dragonspeaker Shaman
Casual Rating: 2.6

Dragonspeaker Shaman is interesting, 3 mana for a 2/2 isn't great but it isn't horrible either if the card's abilities are strong enough. Sad to say I don't think a mana bump on dragons is so huge. One of the main reasons is because most dragons are highpriced with colored mana and not colorless. Overall, not a great card.

Constructed - Maybe in a dragon deck, duh - 2.00

Limited - How many dragons you got, how often do you need them a turn early - 1.75

PEZ - For all those common dragon cards out there - 1.00
