Storm turns this card
into something useful. Not too sure if it will be
a constructed card in Type 2, but block may find
good uses for it. Vines has multiple uses,
including thinning your deck to more useful
spells, and letting you get the mana colors you
need. It also assures more consistent land drops.
In limited, this
card is really good. If you have a half way decent
base color of green going, you should highly
consider it for your limited deck. It allows you
to play one of the many fatties that show up in
your deck, and also help you be more colorful in
your splashes.

A nice land fetcher.
Normally, you'd probably pay G or 1G to go get a
land to put into your hand. But for 2G, you can
almost always get 2 land, and sometimes more,
depending on how much your opponent has done
that turn. Great for a deck that needs the land
thinning, or a particular type of land.
In limited, it
shines even more, because you'll normally get 2
land turn 3 or 4, and can go get your splash
color. Definitely play this if you are green,
I'd estimate about a 6th-7th pick in draft,
simply because it will get passed by the non
green mages.

Sprouting Vines is a
card that I like, it will easily net you at least
a few lands if played right and is an inexpensive
card for multicolor decks.
Constructed - Dual
lands are available but this could be a nice
backup plan for budget builders - 2.10
Limited - This card
is golden and well worth the slot - 3.25
PEZ - This card
could make multi-color decks possible - 2.75 |

Sprouting Vines
The fact that it is
an instant and has the potential to fetch more
than one land makes it pretty useful for a mana
intense deck.
Limited: This
should definitely help smooth out your land
drops for a very reasonable price.

Sprouting Vines
card advantage in green is good, and this is
especially useful in limited.
Even late game it's very solid deckthinning. in
constructed though, you'd
generally have to be playing your full complement
of krosan tuskers and
explosive vegetation before you'd put this in, I
think.
