W/G in IBC
Green/White. The good guys. The cards of nature and
God. The decks filled with monkeys, kitties, dogs, and
men. How can you go wrong?
Anyone notice how no G/W decks did very well? I think
the pure power of the bounce and removal in the set
makes a deck with little to no removal poor. But that
isn't going to stop me.
First, ELVES! Of course!
4 Wax/Wane
4 Thornscape Apprentice
4 Llanowar Knight
4 Quirion Sentinel
4 Nomadic Elf
4 Eladamri's Call
4 Fleetfoot Panther
4 Elvish Champion
4 Armadillo Cloak
4 Elfhame Palace
8 Plains
12 Forest
Quick, fast, efficient, bad. You might consider
playing Day in this deck if you expect your creatures to
live for very long. And we have another beatdown version
that isn't centered on Elves.
4 Wax/Wane
4 Thornscape Apprentice
4 Thornscape Familiar
4 Blurred Mongoose
4 Llanowar Knight
4 Eladamri's Call
4 Fleetfoot Panther
4 Armadillo Cloak
4 Voice of All
4 Elfhame Palace
10 Plains
10 Forest
Sorry but both of these decks are uninspired and
unoriginal. How about some flair?
Nemata Control
4 Star Compass
4 Thornscape Familiar
4 Crimson Acolyte
4 Harrow
4 Voice of All
4 Global Ruin
4 Rout
4 Restock
4 Nemata, Grove Guardian
1 Mountain
1 Swamp
1 Island
4 Elfhame Palace
4 Plains
13 Forest
This deck needs some tuning and would most likely
curl up and die to anything with countermagic, but looks
like a lot of fun. It might be viable with Eladamri's
Call combining 1-ofs instead of 4 of everything, but I'd
leave that up to playtesting on your part.
Next time we'll go over the B/R deck that got lost in
the mail! And then onto three color designs.
Until then,
