I have overlooked alot of cards from Planshift and Invasion. One of the cards that interested me the most was: Armadilo Cloak from the invasion expansion. You can attach it to a strong creature to make it have trample and +2/+2 and how much damage that creature does you gain that much life. 

For example, attach it to a Than Golem and you will most likely have more life. The Best use you can have for Armadilo Cloak is if you attach it to an unblockable creature, and by no time at all you will have a whole bunch of life. I have done this before and it got me over 50 life at the most. So try it You might like it!
