This deck can be a lot of fun! The main combo is
Traumatize/Patriarch's
Bidding. The idea is to fill up your graveyard with a mono creature type
(beasts in this case) using Traumatize
on yourself then use Patriarch's
Bidding to bring them all into play.
All of the creatures in this
deck are as big as possible. They can be of any color and mana cost thanks to
Patriarch's
Bidding. Most of them have morph so you can bring them out with any
three mana, face down, for a 2/2 creature. I mostly use these to block until I
can trigger the combo. I don't really care if they die since the goal is to get
them in the graveyard anyway. The other creatures have cycling. Again, to get
them in the graveyard and to speed up the draw a little. I chose from beast
cards I already own. You could do the same following the criteria outlined
above. Make sure any cycling costs are Black/Blue/Colorless.
The
remainder are various counterspells to slow your opponent. The Discombobulate
is especially good for stacking your library. The Grip of
Amnesia is good for emptying opponents graveyard before triggering Patriarch's
Bidding.
The first time I triggered the combo the guy was dead
with -28 life on the next turn. The second time I had a perfect draw and had the
como on turn 8. I got almost 20 creatures out and he played Wrath of
God! He was laughing his head off until I played another Patriarch's
Bidding on my next turn. Game over! ::grin::
