Dawn of the Dead (Torment)
Black, Rare, Enchantment, 2BBB
At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 1 life.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may return target
creature card in your graveyard to play. That creature
gains haste until end of turn. Remove it from the game
at end of turn.
Animal Boneyard (Odyssey)
White, Uncommon, Enchant Land, 2W
Enchanted land has Tap, Sacrifice a creature: You gain
life equal to that creature`s toughness.
A thought just occurred to me that Dawn of the Dead
might combo pretty well with Animal Boneyard.
Just imagine Entomb or Buried Alive creatures like
Devouring Strossus and Phyrexian Collossus and other
big and high costing creatures (best with evasion),
then bring them out with Dawn, Attack for a huge
ammount of damage, and sacrifice it for a huge ammount
of life.
One thing I want to know is if the creature is sac and
put in graveyard, do I still need to remove it from
the game as stated by Dawn? If you don't need to
remove them, then you will have a cycle of attacking
and life gain.
Even though this combo might be abit mana intensive
especially 2BBB and also need white mana, but with
cabal ritual and cabal coffers, you might be able to
speed up the proccess, maybe with help of duress and
other low casting cost sorcery or instants.
