Subject: BloodFire
Infusion+Temporary Insanity-Cori Thomas
Bloodfire Infusion is from the Apocalypse Set and it's a Common Enchant
Creature with with the cost of 2R
The Temporary Insanity from Torment is
a Uncommon Instant with 3R cost.
Let's look at the card
abilities....
Bloodfire Infusion controls a creature you control, and with
one mountain mana and the sacrifice of the creature you used this baby on,
everything suffers, perfect for swarm decks if you have a creature that has a
higher attack. Wipe the Smirk off of people who use the magic cards that turn
lands into 1/1 creatures or people who get saprolings, or even magic cards like
Nut Collecter, which can drop a Squirrel 1/1 token every turn....
but
wait!
Temporary Insanity can take over creatures whose attack is less
than the number of cards in your graveyard. It also gains haste. How about
this...
Your opponent has some sick swarm of 1/1 and 2/2s on the field,
ready to drive you into the ground. You put another mana down on your turn, then
look at your new card you picked up. Take over the most powerful critter with
Temporary Insanity then play Bloodfire Infusion on the creature (It's yours now
isn't it?) Sacrifice that thing and badda bing, Badda Boom. This works best if
you also have some big creature out on the field so as soon as your opponent
loses their entire munchkin armada, your creature crushes your opponent because
their army took the blast, like the Bloodfire Colossus with a cost 6RR and the
power and toughness of 6/6.
