Stradegy:
The stradegy
of my overrun deck is to get as many elves as possible out on the field. And use
overrun. One stradegy is to get threshold and play Broodhatch Nantuko with
setons desire. This way you have a 3/3 insect that has to be block. Thier are
two good sides to this. 1 all your opponents creatures are blocking this one
monster. 2 whenever Broodhatch Nantako is dealt damage you put that many 1/1
green insect creature tokens into play. If your opponent have some powerful
creatures in play his creatures will be
outnumbered.
In the mean time you can
play all you low cost mana elves giving you unlimited creatures. Then when you
know the time is right and the two cards you have been saving are in your hand
you play 1-4 overruns (by how many are in your hand) and a wirwood pride. Here
you can have one creature get +X/+X until end of turn where X is the number of
elves in play. If you have an enormous Baloth it is over a 10/10 without the
overrun. then you play overrun to get over a 13/13 beast along with 4/4 all the
now 4/4 insect tokens and your elves your opponents creatures will be overrun.
Your creatures will be virtually
unstoppable.
