Subject: Necrosis Deck
The goal of this deck is simple: to exploit the
natural affinity of black cards to destroy all other creatures to ensure your
victory as you torment the opponent by whittling slowly or quickly at his
or her life. Here's my formula:
Deck : 60 cards
Lands: (23)
18 Swamps
1 Barren Moor
2 Temple of the False God
1 Cabal Coffers
Unholy Grotto
Spells (13)
1 Decree of Pain
1 Tsabo's Decree
1 Sever Soul
2 Barter in blood
1 Nightmare Lash
1 Lethal Vapors
1 Noxious Field
1 Infest
1 Lingering Death
1 Terror
1 Nausea
1 Dark Ritual
Creatures: (24)
Reiver Demon
Havoc Demon
Noxious Ghoul
Carrion Wurm
3 Grotesque Hybrid
Deathmark Prelate
4 Faceless Butcher
2 Undead warchief
Shambling Swarm
Bone Shredder
Hollow Specter
Dross Harvester
4 Skinthinner
2 Festering Goblin
The only weakness with this deck as far as I can
tell is facing an artifact or another black deck. That means you won't be able
to target those creatures with many of the cards in this deck. To balance this,
I included 4 Faceless Butchers to remove the opposing creatures completely.
Then, to make your creatures more nasty, I put many zombies that will benefit
from the bonus from the Undead warchiefs. A good possible late-game combo would
be to play Dross harvester and then on the same turn or soon after, play Reiver
dempon or Decree of Pain. This will greatly change the atmosphere of the game
putting you further ahead in terms of life points while your opponent can do
nothing as all or his or her creatures are destroyed.
I'm questioning leaving the Barter in Blood cards
in this deck. I would suggest having at least one in your deck for desperate
situations, switching the other possibly for a Final Punishment.
This deck is super effective against Goblins and
Elves and even Slivers. If you find your self hurting by these kind of tribal
decks, try to stay in the game as long as possible to get your Tsabo's Decree.

Good luck!
