Again, Since I don't play using formats I don't know whether or not this is
Type 1 or 2 or whatever, but this is the conclusion to the Partaine Shuffle
combo I sent. I completed the deck last week with the addition of "Lord of the
Undead" and already its proven to be quite
the little hell raiser.
Cards: 76
Mana: 25
Creatures/Enchantments: 45
Creatures-
Undead Warcheif x4: This is a obvious choice compliments of Scourge.
Zombies get +2 +1 and cost 1 colorless less to play.
Skinthinner x4: This is another way to destroy target nonblack
creature
Smokespew Invoker x4: I don't know why I have this in here. For 8 mana (7
colorless 1 black) give target creature -3 -3.
Vengeful Dead x4: Another obvious choice for a Zombie Deck. Whenever
Vengeful Dead or another Zombie is put into the graveyard from play all
opponents take 1 point.
Zombie Brute x3: This is one of the power houses of this deck, its a
necessity to have in a sucessful Zombie deck.
Noxious Ghoul x4: This is another obvious card for Zombie decks. When ever
a Zombie comes into play all nonZombies get -1 -1.
Zombie Trailblazer x2: Could this be a more perfect card for Zombies? This
one card has won me a great deal of games. Tap one untapped Zombie you control
Target land becomes a Swamp. Tap another and Target Zombie gains
swampwalk.
Twisted Abomination x2: This is a nice 5/3 with regenerate, its good for
attack power.
Soulless One x1: Power and toughness is equal to the total number of
Zombies in play and in all graveyards.
Shepard of the Rot x1: Tap to deal everyone 1 point of damage for every
Zombie in play
Filth x1: When this is in your graveyard creatures you control have swamp
walk
Gempalm Polluter x3: This is good to cycle since it deals damage equal to
the number of Zombies in play to target player.
Cabal Interrogator x2: This is good to deal with possible threats by making
people discard.
Lord of the Undead x1 All Zombies get +1 +1 and you can get Zombie's out of
your graveyard for 2 mana.
Gluttonous Zombie x1: A nice 3/3 with fear.
Rotlung Reanimator x1: This is good to pump out Zombie Tokens if you decide
to put Infernal Caretakers in here.
Walking Desecration x1: This just forces an opponents creatures to attack,
it can be dangerous but I put it in here for elves and goblins, sort of a
population control method in case I can't get of stuff out.
Enchantments-
Bone Harvest x4: Pulls as many creatures outta your graveyard as you like
for a small price.
Clutch of Undeath x4: This lil enchant creature is good to give a Zombie +3
+3, or a non Zombie -3 -3
Haunted Crossroads x1: Another Method to get Creatures outta your
graveyard.
Bad Moon x1: All Black creatures get +1 +1
Feeding Frenzy x1: Target creature gets -X -X where X is the number of
Zombies in play
Call to the Grave x1: Each Opponent sacrifices a non Zombie Creature at the
beggining of their upkeep.
Deck Strengths:
You can easily keep an opponent from getting creatures out, and hit your
opponent with Swamp Walk and/or Fear.
Deck Weaknesses:
Light of Day... Thats all that needs to be said on that. Fortuneately for
Zombies, you can survive long enough to take out the controller of a light of
day by cycling GemPalms.
Another Downfall is the lack of fliers. I feel I can make up for that
though by taking them out before they become a factor.
Key Cards:
Zombie Trailblazer- Start picking people off with this and they'll gain a
new respect for Zombies.
Gluttonous Zombie- What you lose in flyers you gain in unblockables.
Zombie Brute- Amplify, Trample... What more do you want? Swampwalk...
