Maliss P White Rabbit – #CRBR-EN015
You take no damage from battles involving “Maliss” Link Monsters that point to this card. You can only use each of the following effects of “Maliss <P> White Rabbit” once per turn. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Set 1 “Maliss” Trap from your Deck with a different name than the cards in your GY. If this card is banished: You can pay 300 LP; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Link Monsters.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Back at it again with Maliss, couldn’t leave the rest of the archetype hanging now could we? Lets start things off with Maliss P White Rabbit.
White Rabbit starts off with a LP protection ability as long as a Maliss Link Monster is pointing to her. This isn’t too important, as all Maliss Link Monsters are above 2000ATK and LP aren’t much of a concern until late game or OT. When Normal or Special Summoned, White Rabbit is your Maliss Trap searcher. In an archetype that relies on their Trap Cards like Labyrinth do, this is big, as the Maliss Trap Cards can be activated the turn they are set (as long as you can banish a Maliss monster). White Rabbit fetching MTP—07 to get you another search on the first turn is big. Your Maliss monsters are going to keep coming back from being banished so banishing them won’t work against you. If you’re in a pinch (opponent has 3 or more cards than you) search out TB—11 and Special Summon a Maliss Link Monster with it instead of a Maliss from your Deck. A free Link Summon of a 2000+ATK monster that is going to get you immediate advantage the moment it gets summoned. Not only that, but it’s a Link 3 monster each time for Maliss. Not sure where you can Link Summon a Link 3 for free. Sure, your opponent has to not be able to respond to TB—11 but that’s beside the point.
Low ATK but the setup card you want to see first turn. She gets you to your archetype traps and those are going to be a big part of your strategy to win. It helps that the archetype has built-in ways to recover banished Maliss cards as well.

We’re going down the rabbit hole to wonderland this week with Maliss being the second archetype from Crossover Breakers we cover, yet another hyped meta archetype, and we start the week with one of the Level 3s in the Deck: Maliss P White Rabbit.
White Rabbit is a Level 3 DARK Cyberse with 1200 ATK and 300 DEF. Not too impressive stats, even if it is a Level 3, but DARK is always great and Cyberse has good generic support. You take no battle damage from battles involving Maliss Links that point to this monster, which honestly just means this is getting attacked instead, especially with the lower stats, but that’s assuming it sits on the field and isn’t just used as Link fodder. The remaining effects are each HOPT, the first triggering on Normal or Special Summon to set any Maliss Trap directly from the Deck with a differrent name from the cards in your graveyard, which is good considering all the Maliss Traps can be used the turn they are set by banishing a Maliss you control (which they want to be banished) and they all should help get more monsters on your field to Link Summon anyways. The final effect triggers when this card is banished, letting you pay 300 LP to Special Summon this card back to your field, but you can only summon Links from the Extra Deck for the rest of the turn. A fine restriction considering most Cyberse stuff is built to Link Summon a bunch of monsters. Getting this back can also help trigger the first effect to get a Trap out of your Deck, and you got many ways to banish this like Gold Sarcophagus, Allure of Darkness, Maliss Q White Binder, Maliss in Underground, any of the archetype’s Traps, etc. White Rabbit is one of three Maliss monsters in the Main Deck so far, and it’s one of your main ones for getting you to your Maliss Traps that help your plays, and the Special Summon effect is useful as it is on every Maliss monster. Play 3 in Maliss and hope you draw it or can banish it with Dormouse.

Art: 4/5 A lot of Alice in Wonderland references might go over my head, but the artwork is decent for this archetype.

I might not like Cyberse slop, but I like Alice in Wonderland more! The other bombshell archetype of Crossover Breakers, Maliss is this week’s theme, starting with the deck’s frontrunner, Maliss P White Rabbit. A level 3 DARK Cyberse monster, White Rabbit can be accessed with the typical Cyberse support like Cynet Mining, but you can also access it through anything that can banish it, like in-house Maliss cards or Golden Sarcophagus thanks to the deck’s gimmick. As expected for a level 3, White Rabbit comes with a poor stat spread of 1200 attack and 300 defense, so we’ll be relying on Link monsters for more muscle.
While face-up, White Rabbit will protect you from battle damage with Maliss Link monsters while they point to White Rabbit. This is arguably the weakest Link bonus effect of the Maliss Main Deck monsters because the Link monsters have pretty decent attack stats, but I guess it does help you cheese wins against decks like Chimera. Instead, White Rabbit’s strengths come from its two hard once per turn effects, the first triggering if it’s Normal or Special Summoned to let you Set a Maliss Trap directly from your deck. Thanks to the gimmick of the Maliss Traps, you’ll be able to activate them right away by banishing White Rabbit, and if you didn’t use its other effect yet, you’ll be able to bring it back immediately. The most common target will be Maliss C TB-11 to access all of your Maliss names or, if you’re confident in your hand, Maliss C MTP-07 instead. White Rabbit’s other effect is shared by all of the Maliss Main Deck monsters so far, triggering if it’s banished (which will happen, a lot) to let you pay 300 Life Points then Special Summon it, locking you into Link monsters for the rest of the turn. The main meat of this deck’s combo ability, this lets you access and summon White Rabbit (and all the other Maliss monsters, for that matter) as long as you can banish them. I’ve mentioned Golden Sarcophagus and many Maliss cards banish from the deck or Graveyard, but this also allows you to turn otherwise unrelated cards like Bystials, Accesscode Talker, and S:P Little Knight into extenders as well. Though it’s weaker than Maliss P Dormouse as a starter (which ironically brings out White Rabbit), it’s still great as a secondary starter and you definitely want multiple copies for 2 card combos. Run 3!
+Extremely accessible through Maliss cards and many banishing cards
+Lets you use all of the Maliss Traps immediately
-Not as strong as Dormouse as a starter
-Battle damage protection is rather weak

Art: 4.5/5 I might be biased, but shout outs to Alice in Wonderland! Gotta be one of my favorite genders (on another note, is Konami on a twintail roll or something?).
