Here's another card
that is very, very, very bad in limited and it's
not even that great in limited and unlike
Longshot it's not that great in constructed
either.
This card will only
make an appearance in New Brotherhood decks and
that's only because there aren't better 1 drops
in that affiliation. I've played New Brotherhood
for a while now and have fallen in love with its
speed and consistency but this character is one
of those cards that I hate having in the deck
but there really isn't an option.
Everyone thinks
using two of them on the same character in the
same turn is great but nobody notices doing
something like that might keep you from dropping
a bigger character that won't get Flame Trapped
and it's still a gamble. I rather have
characters that can actually team attack to
ensure my opponent's characters get stuned
instead of having a character that could be
great IF I can stun a certain character.

– Destiny – Irene Adler
Ok it is late and I
have been out all night playing poker so I am
going to make this quick. If you are going to
use this card watch out for your opponent’s
characters that have flying. This card is good
to use when you have initiative and a big
character on the field to hit your opponent
with. With my luck however, I will probably
never pull this off….better to leave this one
alone.
Ratings:
Constructed –
1.5/5.0 …. Well maybe you can pull off this
effect…or maybe not…
Limited – 1.0/5.0 ……
probably not….

Destiny, Irene
Another 1 drop with a unique ability. This power
can only be used during the build phase. Target
a character and when it becomes stunned this
turn, its controller loses 4 endurance. More
than likely your opponent is going to do
anything in their power to stop their target
character from getting stunned. Who wants to
lose 4 endurance on top of Stun damage?
Early game Destiny's high
defense allows her to stay protected by a lot of
the generic 1 drops with a 1 Atk. Value.
However, her Atk. Value of 0 can also become a
detriment by not allowing you to attack.
Constructed: 2.5/5 Another
generic 1 drop with a unique power that
sometimes can come in handy.
Limited: 3/5 Gets a better
rating here because of the less ways to stop her
power and for her high defense.

Destiny, Irene Adler
--
You'll notice, if you browse through New
Brotherhood decks listed online, that a good
majority of them are playing at least three
Destiny. Most turns, you will have a pretty good
idea at the beginning of combat who is going to
get stunned, making Destiny a great option --
even if you won't get to attack, you might still
get off an extra four endurance to your
opponent. Being an 0/2 for 1 actually helps her
case a bit too, since a good majority of 1-Drops
seeing play aren't big enough to stun her, and
with a New Brotherhood on the table, you get to
swing with a 2/2 for cheap.
In limited, if I have a Destiny, she will
usually be the lone 1-Drop that sees play in my
deck. There are a few exceptions (such as
Longshot or possibly Forge), but for the most
part, the four endurance per turn is too good to
pass up.
