This is the most impactful card from DC
Origins. This is most versatile, and has
had the greatest impact on the metagame.
In any control deck, it's a must. Any deck
except the fastest of decks, that don't mind,
and even like the resource deceleration, will
like this card.
Not as good in limited, but I'd still play
it, and would not hesitate. It will often
do it's job there too.

Have a Blast!
VS players everywhere love this card. Why not?
At the cost of discarding one card from your
hand you can KO any location or on-going plot
twist your opponent controls. The only instance
where this could be a bad thing would be a
situation in which your opponent either a.)
fizzles (you still have to discard a card) or
b.) your opponent gets the same thing or
something better in their resource row to
replace what they just lost. Still most players
will tell you that is a risk that you will have
to take in this game to get ahead. Not everyone
is going to have room for 4 of these cards in
their deck, but 3 definitely wouldn’t hurt. Look
at it this way…in a metagame where two team
affiliations are the norm, it is nice to have
something to take out an opponent’s team-up card
that doesn’t set you back as well.
Note – If you are running a TT deck with USS
Argus, you are definitely going to want to run 4
of these in your deck…just in case Tara doesn’t
show up when she should.
Ratings:
Constructed – 4.5/5.0 …You do run a risk when
using this card, however, the alternative can be
far worse.
Limited – 3.5/5.0 ….You are not going to see as
many situations where this card makes a
significant different in your favor.

Have a Blast! – HAB
as it is also known as. It so happens that at
the last 2 tournies I have been on the receiving
end of Have a Blast and that the card that was
put face down from my deck happened to be the
same Location that was KO’d. That’s not going to
happen very often but it was amusing that it did
2x. This is a really good card against all those
Location decks out there like Teen Titans. HAB
also screws up a lot of Team-Up decks that rely
on ongoing Plot Twists. The only real downside
is that you discard a card from your hand. Not
that bad if you ask me.
Constructed: 4/5 – With a cost of 3 and the
minor discard effect, this is a must have Plot
Twist to use in an environment that is Location
heavy. Also this is a great card to Blast all
those Team-Up ongoing Plot Twists that your
opponent is using to help with reinforcement and
Team Attacks. HAB is the sole reason that cards
like Xavier’s Dream and Rigged Elections are not
completely broken. You have 20 counters on
Rigged Elections that’s nice I will HAB it.
Limited: 4/5 – More than likely your opponent
will pull a rare Location or ongoing plot twist
and use it in draft. HAB will destroy it and
with all likelihood that it was rare, they wont
be flipping another one anytime soon.

Today's card is a
nice little slice of hate that works in most any
deck. If VS allowed a side deck, you'd see 4
copies of this card in every one of them. Since
you are limited to what's in your deck, a lot of
players like to make room for one or two of
these, just in case you get paired up against
Doom or Brotherhood decks. One card from your
hand is a small price to pay for potentially
screwing up your opponent's gameplan, although
most decks that rely on locations and ongoing
plot twists pack 4 of each, so you'll usually
only slow them down, not stop them entirely.
Still, I wouldn't recommend running 4 of this
card, unless you really won't miss the 4 slots
in your deck. Still, being prepared for anything
helps out a lot in this game.
In Limited, a lot more locations see play, but
not all of them have game-breaking potential.
This is a nice card to see in your pack, but
don't pass up a better card just to get your
hands on a rare. Well, unless you want to sell
it, then I suppose there's nothing wrong with
that.

Have a Blast --
If you are looking for Ongoing Plot Twist or
Location disruption, there is nothing better
than Have a Blast! At the low cost of one card
from hand, Have a Blast has the capability of
altering the entire game by disturbing your
opponent's board setup. I almost always include
two or three copies in any deck I run, just
because there aren't too many decks out there
right now that don't have to worry about what
their opponent is doing.
In limited, this card loses a lot of its
potentcy, as there are few locations and ongoing
plot twists that will come up often. I would
suggest passing on it.
