Marwyn is a highly specialized card – she’s pretty much Elvish Archdruid, but focused on getting bigger instead of going wide. You probably wouldn’t really use her outside of a dedicated elf deck, since she’s pretty underwhelming if you only ever get one mana from her, but it’s worth keeping in mind that her ability is flexible enough that you can (eventually) play swarms of elves to overwhelm your opponent, cast some huge thing like Craterhoof Behemoth ahead of schedule, or overpower them with Marwyn herself once she gets huge. Any of those can be effective, but it takes some setup to get to the point where you have that freedom of choice, so you definitely have to build with her in mind.

Marwyn, the Nurturer is an interesting mix between enabler and payoff for Elves; she can get massive if you do the preferred Elf strategy (go wide), and she enables you to play more Elves as your reward for doing so. Starting as a 1/1 is a bit fraught, but she does pair well with stat boosts (since her mana ability cares about her power), and she snowballs hard. That said, she’s fairly fragile and lacks combat keywords, so she’s not likely to swing until it’s time to make that swing lethal, but she’s a pretty nice piece to keep the Elf wheels greased. I don’t think she’s made it in Constructed formats since leaving Standard, but there’s a bit to find interesting all the same.
Constructed: 3 (a bit too slow at the three-mana slot in Elves)
Casual: 4.5
Limited: 3.75 (draft heavily into Elves and be rewarded)
Multiplayer: 3.25
