Today I got an email from a
reader who asked me to help him with his Fire/Earth
Uchiha build. Here's the email he sent me, with the
original deck...
First off,
thank you!
Well, there
wasn't an official way to do this that I could see, so
here goes!
I'll list
Ninja, Jutsu, then Mission, with side notes on some
cards. My decks basic theme is Uchiha, and I would
actually like to possible get rid of the [SP] Naruto and
Sasuke. Would you suggest getting more or getting rid of
them?

This deck is
not really destined for big tournaments, but feel free
to put any card in that would make it better, even money
cards. It's mostly meant to be fun, and I was almost
tempted to put Amaterasu in it, as I have three, but I
doubt I will go that far.
Anything you
can do to improve it
would be
much appreciated, thanks!!!!

For the record, my
opinion
 is
that monofire is best for a Uchiha deck. It would be
easy to make the switch if you decide to, and I'll
provide alternatives below.
The first thing I noticed
about the deck was the lack of quality turn 0 Ninjas.
Ino is good, but she won't cut it by herself early on!
Choji USF and Naruto COP work well here. Also, you have
a lot of different Sasukes. In an Uchiha deck, I like
Sasuke Beyond the Limits. You're running 3 Chidori so
he's perfect. You can drop the Sasuke SP. I like Naruto
SP a lot, but there's no point running The Final Valley
with just one Naruto. Besides, Naruto COP should be in
here! :) The other ninjas look pretty good for the most
part, but you're not playing the best versions of ninjas
like Hayate. I'll cover that in a bit.
As for your Jutsus, in a
fire/earth freedori deck, you should run 3 8 Trigram, 3
Chidori, and maybe 3 Disguise Jutsu or 2 Disguise Jutsu
and a Sharingan Eye or Fireball.
As for Missions, Jonin's
Intervention is pretty pointless here without Nawaki or
Rock Lee (Releasing the Gates) and Optimum Formation can
be replaced with Caged bird. 3 Surprise and 3 Caged Bird
should work.

This new deck should run a
lot smoother. You have a more solid early game, a Sasuke
that can use Chidori for free, a better Hayate, and more
efficient and powerful missions.
