ROCK LEE...KONOHA's HANDSOME DEVIL!
my personal favourite next to shikamaru. I once made
a deck based on rock lee and it was pretty sweet. I
combo'd this sucker with jonin's intervention....yep
can you say jonin on turn one? I tihnk the guy i was
facing actually quit that match....he he he it was
funny.
Regardless, we have a decent turn one with growth,
ok so he can be a 4/1 thats not so bad. His effect
can really get you out of a bind, assuming you have
a ton of chakra. Plus not to mention two of the
secret rares are based on rock lee =/. Thats kind of
a downer for a lot of people, but the art looks
sweet =D.
This card has many possibilities and many
strategies, i suggest trying him out if oyu get him
in limited...he may save you.

Rock Lee [Releasing The
Gates]
Pros: Easy Pumpage
Weight Loss For Your Opponent
Cons: Injured Stats
At this point in the week you should really start to
get back into shape after all that tryptophan from
that turkey has gotten out of your system. Lee is
here to help with that. Discard any number of chakra
to boost Lee by that many, talk about great late
game. This might be the best card we review all
week. Late game this card can turn a duel around by
taking out the big ninja on your opponent’s team
that’s really wrecking your village or the whole
team all together, by himself. Destroy your opponent
with one card, I’ll take that any day.

Hello all! Today's card is
a ninja who a friend of mine thinks is awesome, Rock
Lee.
Name: Rock Lee
Leaf, Genin, Male, Growth
1 Turn Cost
No Hand Cost
3/0 Healthy
0/0 Injured
[Releasing The Gates]
[Valid] During Exchange of Jutsu, you may discard X
chakras to give this ninja +X/+0 until the end of
the turn. Then, discard this ninja at the end of the
turn.
Hmm... this card could be helpful. A suicide ninja
with lots of power. I like it, except for the fact
that the max amount of battle rewards you can get is
2, unless you use certain missions, which will use
more cards. If it were possible to have a 15
attacker get you 7 battle rewards, then this would
be awesome, but you can't. This card trades
advantage for brute power, and wouldn't be of too
much help, unless you base a deck around it alone.
It's just not worth the advantage at loss.
In limited, I guess it's better, but I still don't
like it.
Hello all, and welcome
back to another installment of....Stryker's COTD
(for Naruto at least...heh..). When Path to Hokage
came out, the one card that caught my eye was Rock
Lee (N-041), and mostly because it's ME in Anime
form! (True story, look like Rock Lee a bit in RL,
and act like him too), but also due to his effect to
grow stronger with each passing battle, and this new
Rock Lee (N-094), which has an interestingly good
effect, made me sigh in sadness...
Rock Lee-Rare Lightning Ninja; Costs: 1-0; 3/0, 0/0;
Leaf/Genin/Male/Growth
[Releasing the Gates] Valid: During the Exchange of
Jutsu, discard X number of your Chakras to give this
Ninja +x/+0 during this turn. Then, discard this
Ninja at the end of the turn.
After reading the first line, one's opinion of this
card skyrockets, but then drops down like a good ol
pair of cement shoes in the nearby lake. Rock Lee
(N-094), mostly key in any Taijutsu or Deck of his
own, would instantly become the best out of the
total 3 Lee's, were it not for the fact that you
actually have to kill him at the end of the turn. He
is pretty solid, stat-wise, and the ability to power
up using your past Chakra could instantly turn this
guy into a one-Ninja army. Sure, there are ways to
save him, like 8 Trigram and such, but I would use
any Jutsu in my hand for my opponent, not to save my
Ninjas from their own effects. If the wording on
this card read something like..."Then, give 1 Damage
to this Ninja at the end of the turn." I would
easily slide in 1 copy or 2 of this into my Tai/Byaku
deck. Sadly, that isn't the case. But that's my
opinion, since some of my friends seem to believe
this Rock is the best yet, but I'm stickin to my gut
instinct.
Constructed: 2/5 (Better luck using and protecting
the rare Rock Lee from PtH set)
Limited: 3/5 (always handy for a quick power boost
and kill)
