Genjutsu: Infinite
Darkness Jutsu
Wow, that's specific. A jutsu that not only requires
two different symbols, but one that only a select
few ninjas can use. Let's make a list of sannins and
satoosas, shall we?
2 Jiraiya
Orochimaru
2 Third Hokage
Fourth Hokage
Kazekage
That's three lightning, one water, two fire, and one
wind. Seeing as how this jutsu requires fire and
wind, you'll probably only use it with the Third or
Kazekage. However, if you do manage to use it, it's
basically an automatic Overwhelming Victory; your
ninja will have 6 (or four if injured), and your
opponent's team will have 0, so you could
theoretically devastate an opponent's big team.
Theoretically, it could combo well with Exhaustion
of Stamina, but your opponent would likely see it
coming and just chump block. However, if you do get
it off (excluding against Kabuto), well, bully for
you.

Genjutsu: Infinite
Darkness Jutsu
Well we hope everyone had a good weekend and to kick
off the week we continue our Revenge and Rebirth
Card reviews which quite an interesting Jutsu card.
Symbol: Wind
Cost: Fire | Wind
Requirements: 'Satoosa' or 'Sannin' or higher rank
Target: All Ninja other than user
Effect: Target's Power becomes 0/0 during this turn.
When I first read this it seems really good. A fire
and a wind chakra cost which isn't great but its ok.
Then the effect of making all ninjas power 0/0
is very good. You will be able to defeat the head
ninja and give 1 damage to
every ninja on the team you are battling with this
card, which is very good.
However before you rush to put this card in your
deck you have to consider the fact that it requires
Satoosa or Sannin, which is turn 6 (or turn 3 is you
have the coils of the snake Orochimaru). This means
that it will be useless if you draw it in turn 0.
Also it says "Target: All Ninja other than
user". If this means that all of your ninjas except
the Satoosa or Sannin gets 0/0, which means you will
only get one attack so it can become a burden.
My advice is honestly not to play this. The CONS
outweigh the PROS, if I am wrong about your ninjas
getting reduced as well then it might be worth
playing because it does have a bit of potential and
you will need a deck with about 5 Satoosas or
Sannins to make this card easier to play. There are
better cards out there.
(Add 2 if I am wrong about your ninjas getting
reduced as well)

Hello again Pojo readers.
Today we're reveiwing yet another card from the
upcoming Revenge & Rebirth set and from the looks of
things, we'll be reviewing other cards from the set
all week. Lucky day :)
Today we're reviewing the card "Genjutsu: Infinite
Darkness Jutsu". It's a rather interesting Jutsu
that can render each Ninja in play, includeing yours
(aside from the user) completely useless for the
turn it's activated. Let's take a closer look.
Genjutsu: Infinite Darkness Jutsu
Type: Jutsu
Attribute: Wind
Jutsu Cost: [Fire | Wind]
Requirement: "Satoosa" or "Sannin" or higher rank
Target: Each Ninja except the user
Effect: The target's Power becomes 0/0 during this
turn.
The ability to render every Ninja in play except the
user almost completely useless in battle really
isn't something to be so easly overlooked. Because
it requires the highest level of Ninja in the game
currently to use you would think there's got to be
some catch to make this card more broken or atleast
halfway decent..right? That would be false, this
card is just as reads.
In a constructed deck, most players will only have 2
maybe 3 "Sannin" or "Satoosa" Ninja. Since most high
level Ninja don't come into play until late game
you'll have ample opportunity to draw this card into
your hand before your able to play it. That's also
were it's biggest flaw is. The fact that it cannot
be played until late game and that you'll need "Satoosa"
or "Sannin" rank Ninja to play makes this card even
more inconsistant. Unless your loseing the game and
feel that you need to "tie things up" late game
you'll want to play other cards. Keep an eye out for
this however, it can easly change the game in your
opponent's favor if they're loseing the Ninja-Power
battle (Who has higher powered teams).
In Limited format, this card will see almost no play
due to the fact of the rarity of many "Satoosa" and
"Sannin" rank Ninja (Unless Path to Hokage packs are
involved..).
The Artwork is pretty mediocre. I think it would
have been better if they caught a picture of the
Third Hokage standing in the complete darkness from
a distance, not such a close up picture.
Final thoughts:
Contructed Format: 2.5 / 5 (It's decent, but the
fact that it's so difficult to play really hinders
this card)
Limited Format: 1.5 / 5 (Unless your drafting Path
to Hokage and manage to pull the Third Hokage or
some other high rank Ninja, I'd stay away..far far
away from this card)
Artwork: 2 / 5 (Decent, could have been better)
