We start off Eternal
Rivalry Super Rare week with Naruto Uzumaki,
Overflowing Power. This card looks a lot like an
upgraded Nine-Tailed Chakra, but it has perks the
other doesn't. First, he cannot be affected by
Jutsus like 8 Trigrams Divination Seal Spell
Formula, Water Style:Giant Vortex Jutsu and Wind
Style: Great Breakthrough, nor does End of the Demon
work on him. Second, his power is 1+ whatever the
the Entrance Cost of the ninja he's facing so he
almost always matches power with your opponent's big
ninja(most Genin will overpower him, though). Third,
he has the Oil Attribute and Growth with a Turn 1
Entrance cost. Fourth and finally, unlike
Nine-Tailed Chakra, his effect works no matter who
he's with. With the new Ino around annoying people
with her ability to control teams, this Naruto is a
great Ninja by himself and a great card for
Mono-Lightning decks, especially Toad decks. You can
growth a Results of the Training Naruto into this in
your Toad deck and have a ninja your opponent
doesn't want to see late game. Being immune to
removal by Jutsus and Missions is always good and
this is certainly not the card a user of the third
Hokage, Addressing Past Wrongs will use APW's effect
for.

Beastly Mage
Naruto
Uzumaki [Overflowing Power]
Another week, more cards, Naruto fans. Today's card
is the new Super Rare Naruto. This card, late game,
can be a good one. By adding the entrance cost of
the head ninja you can pump this Naruto quite a bit,
and he doesn't have to be by himself or anything
like that. Problem is that he has to be injured for
his effect to take place, but that won't be a
problem. Also, he has a second effect. He cannot be
removed from play by your opponent's jutsus or
missions. This is also a great effect. In limited,
he can be great. In constructed, he ownz. Try it and
see.

Byakuya Kuchiki
Naruto Uzumaki[Overflowing
Power]
Today starts us off with Eternal Rivalry's Super
Rare week. Our first card for this week is the new
Super Rare Naruto. Looking at Naruto's stats makes
him seem more like a wimp being a 0/0 and a 1/0, so
we know that can't be right.
His effect makes Naruto NTC look weak. While this
Naruto is in injured status, Naruto gets plus the
power of your opponent's Head Ninja's entrance cost.
For instance, if Gaara[Sand Barrier] was head Ninja.
Naruto would get +2 power making him a 3/0. Naruto
gets even better late game as well. When he is up
against a turn 5, he becomes a 6/0, and then a turn
6 Ninja makes him a 7/0, and so on. To top it off,
Naruto has growth, which would increase his power by
1/1 making him a really tough genin for any Ninja to
take down. His second effect is even nastier saying
that Naruto can't be removed from play by Jutsu or
Mission cards. This leaves only a small array of
options in beating this Naruto and that would
include: popping him with Third Hokage APW's effect,
Dosu[Sonic Impact], and beating him in pure power.
And if anyone is running Gamabunta if it matters,
Naruto also has the Oil combat attribute. Lightning
just got a boost with this card. His art is amazing
as well. I am definitely going to be testing him out
with this set and see how he works.

Akira
Uzumaki Naruto
This card is just meh.
Early on, you are going to have an almost always
sub-par ninja to fight with while your opponent
hits their drops and smashes you with stronger
ninjas.
By then time your
opponent gets out a turn 3+ ninja to make your
Naruto strong, you've probably lost several
battle rewards waiting for your Naruto to be
stronger than your opponent's head ninja.
Just play Naruto
[Control of Power]. It is amazing early
game, and can take 2 BRs by itself later on,
which is more than you can say for [Overflowing
Power]. Sure, Naruto CoP can be Trigrammed or
Vortexed, but at that point you should have a
Jonin or something with power that is close to
Naruto's without giving up early game advantage.
In limited he's not
that great but he's still a ninja, and there are
a lot of turn 6+ ninjas in this set so hey.
