Inoichi Yamanaka
Some good support for earth
The good points of this card are that you are able
to boost its stats by its effect, which is valid.
His stats are ok. His injured stats are good for
supporting you team. Also if you are able to get the
other two out in your village you will have a strong
team.
However the boost does have specific requirements,
which isn’t great. Also even thought I said the
stats are ok, they are a little weak for a turn 4.
Also there is no mental power.
My advice is even with the drawbacks it still is a
good card for earth. It does show some potential.

Inoichi Yamanaka
Leaf/Jonin/Male/Earth
Entrance Cost 4, Hand Cost 0
Mind attribute
Combat/Support: 4/3, 0/3 injured
Valid: This Ninja gets +1/+1 when it is in the same
team as a Jonin ninja with the "Shadow" and a Jonin
Ninja with "Food" attributes,
I love the Ino-Shika-Cho concepts that are
illustrated well in the game. Too bad they only had
one appearance in the anime thus far together,
during the Attack on Konoha arc.
Inoichi has pretty nice speed, being on par with
Kurenai in the Combat department. It is nice that he
keeps his 3 Support when injured, but it ain't cool
that he loses all Combat power in that state.
Something to work around. The effect is identical to
the others in the Trio, turning him into 5/4 when in
formation. While this is nice, he will still want to
be a back row ninja, since Choza should lead the
fight with the Expansion Jutsu being able to give
him +6/+0!. Inoichi's personal Jutsu, the Mind
Destruction Jutsu, can definitely be handy for
turning an opposing team into weaklings. However,
Mind attribute is not that well supported, so this
guy can lack a lot of utility because of it. He just
seems to be there just for the sake of the trio.
Constructed: 1.75/5: Much better Jonin out there
that aren't dependent on being in a specific squad.
Limited: 3/5: Jonin ninja can be hard to come by,
and it has no hand cost, enjoy.

Thrusday's card is one that anyone who likes Mind
Transfer Jutsu has been waiting for, Inoichi
Yamanaka. He is a Turn 4 Jonin which is a plus since
he can use Jonin Jutsus a turn earlier than a lot of
the playable Jonin. His stats are decent for a Jonin
as well, 4/3 healthy and 1/3 injured, so unlike
Shikaku and Choza, Inoichi can still remain a strong
part of the team even if your opponent injures
him(which can happen easily). Inoichi also has Mind,
so he can use Mind Transfer Jutsu as well, plus Mind
Distruction, his Mind Jutsu, allows you to steal an
opposing ninja's stats to add to your team. Inoichi
is among the cards that essentially helps it close
the gap with the more powerful elements as you now
have a 3 support Earth ninja. One could run a fun
Trio deck and use the younger Ino-Shika-Cho
formation as well, but Inoichi is more likely to be
run by himself and his injured stats actaully make
him better than Shikaku if you want the 3 support
for your ninja team. Earth really needed the new
cards and Inoichi is one of the cards that make
Earth better. Not game-breaking like yesterday's
card, Inoichi is more of a card that is good, but
not fantastic good.
Limited:4/5(one of the best Turn 4s you can pull in
the new set)
Constructed:3/5(mainly because of his effect)
Nogard
this is the earth version
of everyone's favorite support ninja, This is a must
have in any earth deck, and it can be splashed but i
think that people who dont run earth will splash
kurenai over this guy

Inoichi Yamanaka (n-160)
Greetings from Beastly Mage, guys. Today's card is
Inoichi Yamanaka.
Being Ino's dad, I was thinking this guy would pack
some mental power (hey, I'm a mental fan). But he
doesn't. His effect only works when he's with his
other friends, the original Ino-Shika-Cho formation.
His combat and support stats when healthy are pretty
good for a turn-4 ninja, and the "Mind" combat
attribute helps for the Yamanaka signature jutsus.
Still, there are better cards than him, except for
an Ino-Shika-Cho deck that is.
Ratings:
Constructed: 3/5 in an Ino-Shika-Cho deck, 2/5 in
all others
Limited: 3.5/5 since he's actually good in such a
situation

Inoichi Yamanaka [Reunion
Of The Trio]
Leaf | Jonin | Male
Healthy: 4/3
Injured: 0/3
Entrance Cost: 4
Hand Cost: 0
Valid: This Ninja gets +1/+1 when it is in the same
team as a "Jonin" ninja with a "Shadow" Combat
Attribute and another "Jonin" Ninja with a "Food"
Combat Attribute.
Pros:
Valid
Good Healthy Stats
Jonin
Cons:
Situational power-up effect
Bad Injured stats
Earth
Wait, if he has "Mind" Attribute, should'nt he have
some Mental Power? o_O
Ok, so when I saw this card, I thought, "Cool, its
like a Kurenai with an effect". But then I realized
that its combat is 0 when its injured. Its not as
versatile as Kurenai.
Hes a Jonin, meaning he can use 8 Trigrams
Its effect is Valid, so thats good. He can use his
effect when injured. Wait, hold on... The effect...
What? Just to get a simple +1 I have to fish out 2
other specific Ninjas in my Deck?! Aww man...
The worst part is, there are no other Jonin Ninja
with "Shadow" or "Food" Attributes besides Shikamaru
and Choji's dads. If I remember correctly, I think
they also have a power-up effect similair to this.
And hes Earth. The least supported Element. If he
were Fire, Water, Wind, or even Lightning, I
would've rated him abit higher.
Constructed: In a Deck around the Trio, then 5/5,
but in anything else, 2/5
Limited: 3/5 Not that hard to pull off this and the
other two.
Art: 1/5 (I never really liked him or Ino for some
reason)
