The Final Competition

Wind can pull together some pretty strong genins;
with Gaara, Temari, and someone else, you can easily
put together a team of 7-8, but chances are your
opponent will just chump block with one of their
used up genin, and you just wasted a card. I see
little use for this card.

The Final Competition
Begins!
Another interesting mission today.
The advantages of this card is that it is turn 3
which is ok. Also later on in the game when your
opponent has high level ninjas out then you can get
some key battle rewards.
However this could be a wasted mission card if your
opponent has a few Genin out. Also it allows your
opponent to organize their teams.
My advice is that if you play a lot of Genin then it
might be worth playing but I don’t see this card
getting a lot of play. Try it out.

Mission-Wind
Entrance Cost 3-Hand Cost 1
Effect: your opponent may organize his teams. Only
Genin ninjas may be sent out to battle this turn.
Yet another Wind mission that has to do with battle
control. This one happens to have entrance costs in
between yesterday's card and Pass Permit.
Interesting coincidence lol. Anyway, this card is
much more specialized than either of the two other
missions mentioned before.
As I said in yesterday's review, missions that are
too specific tend to lose out, especially since you
need a hand cost to play them. this one also gives
your opponent a fair chance to bring equal fighters
to the showdown. On Turn 3, there will be a good
amount of Genins out to be sure, but it is also when
focus has shifted towards Special Jonins and other
ninjas. Thus, a lot of your Genins may have already
been discarded or injured. This mission really needs
to be built around, with a lot of good, strong
Genins like Naruto [CoP] or Sasuke [Analysis of
Competence], that way you will have a better chance
of snagging some battle rewards or nice victories
when you use this mission.
Constructed: 2/5: Too specific, and the Genins are
meant for the early game, not mid-game when the
biggers ninjas come out to play.
Limited: 1.5/5: Same reasons as above, but there is
also a lack of really strong Genin, since the odds
of you getting a nice Naruto CoP +Temari AM opening
are slim...

Thursday's card is another
Wind card and while it's not as good as the previous
two at first glance, it could actually be better if
used right. The Competition Begins only allows Genin
to attack, but the opponent can rearrange the teams.
It starts to hit at Turn 3, which means your Genin
can attack when your opponent has started to play
his or her Chunin and Special Jonin. Some of the
strongest Genin in the game are Wind, and if you
play Wind, you'll more than likely have a Team seven
or more Genin team by Turn 2. Another good card that
plays of Genins is Sasuke Uchiha, Analysis of
Competence. I could see this as a possible candidate
for a deck with a little innovation, but right now,
only the guy willing to experiment would use it.
It's certainly playable, if you can utilize it at
the right moment.
Limited:2.5/5(this relies on getting a lot of good
Genin, and unless you pull some Sasukes and Temaris,
you may not want to use this)
Constructed:3/5(You can plan some better Genin teams
to use in Constructed)

The Final Competition Begins (M146)
Beastly Mage here. Today's card is another Wind
mission. This one, though works completely
different. First off, your opponent can organize
whatever teams he/she has out. Sometimes, that's not
a good thing. But, the second effect is what makes
this card nice. Only Genin level Ninjas can battle
during that turn. If you have a few out, but your
opponent has none, you can score a few hits. In a
Genin Rush deck it can be a good card.
