Effect: Place the target as the Head Ninja in a team
battling against the user. (If the user is a
Non-battling Ninja, the target becomes a new team of
1 ninja).
Spring Break is finally over for the college folk,
so let's take a moment to have a bit of fun with
another week of Naruto COTDs. Here we have a
slightly confusing, but potentially very effective
water jutsu, Striking Shadow Snake, hereby referred
to as SSS.
This jutsu can work well in various controlling
water builds, but it may take some serious
playtesting to determine its place. The effect is
quite specific and is one of those jutsus that mess
with Ninja placement in the Showdown. The best use
I'd say for SSS would be to snag ninjas who normally
like to stay back and block such as Suzume or to
pick off injured ninja that didn't want to fight. An
interesting use for this card could be in a
Fire/Water build that utilizes Kakashi [Early
Settlement] or A-Ranked Mission, seeing as you could
get a weak ninja to declare a victory against. I'd
say it would be best that non-battling ninja use SSS,
since it would create a 4-ninja squad as your enemy
if you use this as a battling ninja. It is is
difficult to rate SSS, but I would love to give it a
go some time.

Hello there, Pojo-ers. Today's card is Striking
Shadow Snake. Not a bad card, but still not seeing
much action. Making one of your opponent's Ninjas go
to battle can be a way of getting rid of it if you
can overpower it. Maybe comboing it with The Third
Hokage (the new one) you can easily get rid of that
ninja that annoys you.
