Friday's card is probably
the most anticipated for the fans of the show,
Itachi Uchiha, True Heir to the Sharingan. Sasuke's
brother comes out at Turn 6, but unlike most Turn 6
ninja, he can be cheated out with Jonin's
Intervention as he is a Jonin, not Satoosa or Sannin
like the rest of our Turn 6 ninjas out there. Itachi
is a 6/3 like Kakashi and possesses both Sharingan
Eye and Genjutsu like Kakashi. Itachi however can
only be damaged as a result of a Showdown if another
ninja with Sharingan Eye is in play. Against
non-Fire decks, Itachi can chump-block all day
unless someone uses a Jutsu on him. That's the good
news: neither Itachi nor Kisame have a Valid effect
and both have weak injured stats. Itachi is really
close to broken, but not so much as some of the
ninjas we got in the last set.
Limited:5/5(Itachi is immortal in this set unless
your opponent got the Kakashi deck).
Constructed:5/5(add another Sharingan Eye user to
Fire's ninja).
Beastly Mage
Itachi
Uchiha (n-203)
True story, not made up: First Dream Legacy pack I
opened actually had this guy in it. I fell to the
floor, eyes like two beach balls, and my mouth open
in such a way my chin was on my chest. o.0 Even
though his stats are somewhat low (some would say)
for a turn-six Ninja, you have to take into
consideration a few things. He can't take ANY damage
during the showdown unless your opponent has a
Sharingan Ninja out. In constructed, you would only
see Ninjas such as Sasuke and Kakashi (and any other
Shinobi with the Sharingan coin, after using "Blood
of the Uchiha Clan"). In the right deck, you don't
have to fear any of these Ninjas. He's a Jonin,
making him able to use a lot of Jutsus, as well as
the Itachi-Specific Jutsus such as Kaleidoscope
Sharingan and others. In limited, however, this guy
owns. He's the only Sharingan Ninja you'd see in a
booster draft, meaning he's practically unstoppable.
