Might Guy: Fervent Words
By turn 4-5, you don't want a team led by a genin.
Even a Lee deck, Passionate Teacher is better.
Constructed/Limited: 3/5; one of the few powerful
Lightning ninjas.

Might Guy [Fervent Words]
Leaf/Jonin/Male/Lightning/Taijutsu
Turn Cost 5, Hand Cost 1
Combat/Support: 6/0, 5/0 injured
Effect: When the head ninja of this Ninja's team is
a Genin with the Taijutsu attribute, this Ninja gets
+0/+4 during the turn.
Here we have a Jonin that I myself have made use of
in Fire/Lightning taijutsu build. Like the other
Might Guys, this one is focused on attack power
only, having no support to speak of. Still, it does
have the minimum standard of 6 power for a turn 5
discard jonin. In my opinion, this guy works best
with Jonin's Intervention off a discarded Rock Lee
[Releasing the Gates]. This would allow a Turn 1 Guy
into a Turn 2 Neji Hyuga, which could give you a
solid team power of 7+. Taijutsu decks tend to have
no good support Ninjas, so Guy can fit that bill
nicely. It would be nice if Guy got some effects not
directly related to his students, but what can ya
do?
Constructed: 2.5/5
Limited: 3.5/5

Might Guy
(n039)
Hello there, Naruto fans. Today's card is the first
version of Guy-Sensei. The effect makes him a good
back Ninja if your head Ninja is a Kung-Fu Genin he
goes from 6/0 to 6/4. That's pretty good since
Taijutsu (Kung-Fu) decks lack support-strong Ninjas.
But, he was good back when there weren't that many
good choices. He's not so good now. Passionate
Teacher is a better choice in constructed.
