Jiraiya and Tsunade
Now here's a powerful combination. 9/2 Healthy puts
it even with the biggest of creatures, but its
effect deals with the smaller ones. Any ninja with
an entrance cost of 4 or less is powerless against
them. While this can be handy in keeping down little
teams, keep in mind two things:
1: This is a turn 8 ninja. Jonins usually begin
getting played around turn 4. Thus, you'll probably
be facing a lot of all-Jonin teams, wielding Jonin-level
jutsu.
2: This is a 9-2 ninja. Put it with even a little
support, and the effect becomes near worthless.
While it does have superior stats, a mental power of
3, and access a wide variety of jutsus to to Sannin
and Medical status, its entrance cost of 8 and lack
of a very useful effect hurt it.

Beastly Mage
Jiraiya
and Tsunade [Living Legends]
Fact:
There's a Japanese legend involving Jiraiya, Tsunade,
and Orochimaru. Jiraiya and Tsunade were married in
the story, so this card is kinda like a homage to
that legend.
OK, enough of history lessons, let's start off with
this card, shall we? Turn-eight Platoon Ninja with
TWO discards?! Yikes!!! Stats: great! Effect: Ouch!
Though you have to see when in turn 8 you'll be
facing turn-four or less Ninjas. In its own deck
(Med-Oil deck) it can work pretty good. Not so sure
if it will see much action, considering the costs of
this card (entrance and discard). Still, as far as
Platoons go, this one pwnz.
Ratings:
Limited: 4/5 (heavy combat stats make it great)
Constructed: 4/5 (in a dedicated deck)

Jiraiya & Tsunade (
Living Legends )
To get
full use of this card I think that you would
have to run both wind and lightning, and both
are pretty good elements. At turn 8, this card
can rival Mando and Shukaku with its great
stats. Only problem is that it has 2 hand costs
and to play it you have to get out Jiraiya or
Tsunade first. The effect is great, and reduces
everything battling against them. Power full
against a genin rush deck. Only bad thing is
what it takes to get this card out, which is why
I said that it
requires wind-lightning. Mental power of three
is excellent. Only con is that it requires a
dedicated deck to use it.
