Beastly Mage
Sakura
Haruno [Control of Chakra]
Today's card is an interesting one, especially since
I use it. Even though my deck is mostly Water/Fire
it has a few other elements in it. This card helps
take care of, let's say, Earth and Wind Chakras
placed by Growth effects. This little jewel of a
card helps in such cases. Try it and see.

Today's card is Sakura Haruno [Control of Chakra] I
like how she's a 0-drop with a whopping 3 Mental
Power (by "Mental", I mean she's mental, to the
power of 3), but can she live up to it? No. Her
effect is kinda pointless. During the Mission Phase,
you can swap 2 cards in your Chakra Area with 2 in
your discard.
First of all, not all that many cards get into the
discard pile, and you aren't always gonna have 2 or
more Chakra out. The chances that they'll be
elements you don't want, and ones you do want are
discarded. Not very likely, but it can work well
with discard-dependant cards, but overall, those
aren't very good.
2 all around.
Art: Why's she so happy!? Didn't she just play with
that paper airplane a bit rough?/5 Next time: A
slightly older, much dumber, not-so-attractive
one...

Alrighty, we shall take a look at a common Sakura
that has some potential.
She's turn 0 with growth and has 1 support in both
healthy and injured status.
Anyways, her effect allows you to exchange to cards
from your discard pile with 2 cards in your chakra.
Sometimes this can be beneficial especially if you
hit the right jutsu, but honestly, Sakura won't be
seeing any type of action at all due to the fact of
the dominating turn 0's of Ino, Sasuke, Choji, and
so forth making this Sakura obsolete. Also her
effect is not valid, so meh, I wouldn't use her. She
has potential though.

Sakura Haruno
At best, it is above
average. It could help in dual/tri element decks
(it took me a few minutes to think of the word
element as I play too many other card games).
Getting back 2 chakra for 2 chakra is generally
a 1-1 swap, with this card being a DECENT ninja
if used right. You could swap 2 earth for 2 fire
and then use Divination (although why the heck
wouild you run this in a fire/earth deck, unless
it is fire/earth/wind)? That was just an
example, there are other ways of looking at it.
Really, we see that it makes 2 chakra any
element you want it to be, as long as you have 2
of that element in the discard pile.

Limited: 4.3/5 (you
never know when you need chakra for jutsu)
