Beastly Mage
Neji Hyuga
This version of Neji is reminiscent of an
often-played version of Shino that we still see
today. When this Neji goes out to battle, be he
opposed or not, you can look at the top three cards
in your opponent's deck and return them in any order
you want. This can help you delay the coming of a
card, or maybe even take a card as a battle reward.
And, take into consideration that this is Neji we
are talking about here, who's got access to plenty
of devastating techniques. In constructed, this is
that good.
We have another Neji! Yay…I really hate Neji, he
hurt Hinata. Anyone who hurts her should not be
around in the series. Like when he fought Kidomaru
and got impaled? He needed to die. Anyway…
This Neji is outright garbage. First off, we already
have a Shino with his same effect a turn earlier.
Secondly, there are plenty of other much more
impressive and valid Neji. So, unless it’s limited
play, you won’t ever see this piece of trash in a
competitive deck.
Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 1/5
Art: Neji, use head butt attack! It’s super
effective!

Shino [Tracking]
This Shino isn't that great. I'd rather use
[Absolute Protection] or [For Those Who Believe in
Me]..... Wait a second, this is a Neji card, not
Shino.
2.5/5
(F)art: Lame.
Next Time: Nayru's toes eat broccoli.
Fun Fact: I play the Ocarina.
The Poo Toucher
Hello one and all, Today we are doing the new Neji
Hyuga Insight to See Through Everything. It's effect
is that once he's sent out to battle, you can look
at and arrange any way you want the top 3 cards from
the opponent's deck. I have a soft spot for cards
with these kinds of effects as it's always fun to
dead drop the opponent throughout the game.
This card is useful for the wind earth hybrids that
did so well during the 9kreign but have seemingly
droped of the competitive scene seince....the only
problem is that he shares a name with Detection By
Byakugan, which has the effect to eat chakra, a much
more valuble effect in that deck. Add to that there
is a Shino Aburame from Eternal Rivalry that has the
same effect, and you get a card that will end up in
the shoebox. It really is a shame.
Constructed: 2 out of 5. Valid whould've been the
push I need to play him over DBB
Limited: 4 out of 5. in this form of play, dead
droping the opponent could be the key to victory
