Inuzuka and Akamaru [Outstanding Sense of Smell]
Another platoon?! This one could fit well in Animal
decks. When they're sent out to battle, reveal the
top card in your deck to your opponent. If it's a
Ninja, move it to your hand and move one card in
your hand to the bottom of your deck. No ninja? Just
move it back to the top of your deck. Thing is:
would you want to show your opponent your next draw?
Kinda risky, I say.

This is the second Kiba/Akamaru platoon released and
shows less competitive potential than the first. The
stats are the same as the other Kiba/Akamaru platoon
released in Quest For Power, which if you think you
actually have a need for a Kiba/Akamaru platoon is
the one you would choose. The effect of [Oustanding
Sense of Smell] is not optional, and the chance of
losing important cards is just about as likely as
finding something decent. Stat wise it's below
average. I'd rather just have a second Kiba to
growth in.
In a Constructed tournament, if you're playing Kiba
enough to warrant a platoon you're better off
playing the Double Headed Wolf ninja that has great
stats and is a turn 3.
In Limited tournaments this is more or less a dead
card. There was a single Kiba card from the BoD set,
so the chances of playing this Platoon are low.

Kiba Inuzuka and Akamaru.
Once again, another dissapointing Kiba+Akamaru
platoon. It has some things going for it, ninja dog,
animal, and an okay effect. But this card seems to
be only useful in Kiba/Akamaru based decks, or Ninja
dog/Animal mill decks. The stats are meh for a
platoon, and the effect only happens when he is sent
out to battle, and even then it might only give you
a glimpse at the top card of your deck. Don't get me
wrong, possibly drawing another card(especially a
ninja) is good, but it just doesn't seem like the
best way to get it. It just doesn't feel worth it to
me.
Constructed:2.5/5(3.5/5 in animal/Kiba decks.)
Limited:2/5(1 Kiba and no akamarus in this set make
it hard to actually play, but the effect might come
in handy here.)
