Beastly Mage
Itachi
Uchiha [The Limits of my Ability]
Another turn-5 Itachi, but this one's a rare and
Akatsuki. The effect is somewhat situational. You
need to have both his mom and dad out to do it.
Discard them, and search (not draw) two cards from
your deck. Thing is: would you want to discard two
ninjas, particularly one that pumps up all Uchihas
by +2/+0? (Itachi's dad) If you're looking for some
really good cards from your deck, go for it. If not,
don't risk it (unless you want to, that's up to you)

Itachi Uchiha [The Limits
of My Ability] N-us061
I think a lot of people are overlooking some
playability with todays card. All the Itachi before
now have been turn 6. This one is the nearly the
same as a turn 6 Itachi with respect to stats. As
much as I like some of the other versions of Itachi,
I'd say this one could see some play just for his
entrance cost.
His effect doesnt really work until turn 7 under
normal circumstances.(notice that both his parents
are turn 4 ninjas and his effect activates at the
beginning of the turn). A cool payoff, but a heavy
cost as well. Losing the field presence of 2 jonin
ninjas as well as the bonus they give to this and
other Uchiha ninjas on your side of the field for
this effect is huge. Unless the effect means a
guaranteed victory, I don't see a need for it.
Because I like looking at extreme combos, there's a
chance to deploy this Ninja out on turn 2. See if
you can figure out how.
Constructed. It's a good ninja regardless of it's
optional effect, and if you're building a deck
centered around the Uchiha, not a terrible choice.
Limited. If you can accumulate enough fire, which
this set had a fair amount of, and a Fugaku Uchiha
to boost it's power, this card has great combat
stats on turn 5.

Today's card is Itachi
Uchiha, a rare from Battle of Destiny.
He's turn 5, which is a plus, but he's Akatsuki,
which is either good or bad based on your deck. He
can't use Suicidal Action, (and with 3 support
healthy or injured, he's a good ninja to use.) but
there are a few cards out there that help out
Akatsuki dudes.
As for his effect, tutoring (or, searching your deck
for a specific card) is always amazing, but his cost
is steep. You have to discard Itachi's parents from
play!!! Awww!
You could get 2 great cards, but you'll be losing 2
ninjas.
Two ninjas with good stats that you can't play until
late game anyway.
All in all, this is a pretty weak card. If you're
running an Uchiha deck, it's easier to play this
guy, as you will probably be using a few copies of
the parents.
Anywhere else, I'd say no, even if you think you
could just throw in a few of the parents.
In limited, he's got good stats, though you'll
probably never trigger his effect, and you probably
never should.

Welcome to Friday,
February 15th's Naruto Card of the Day!
Today's card is Itachi Uchiha. He has the basic
stats, 6/3 except his injured is only 1/3. The
difference here also is he's a turn 5.
He also has the basic characteristics, Akatsuki,
Jonin, Sharingan Eye; he also has Genjutsu as his
combat attribute. His effect is a good one, but
requires you to sacrifice 2 ninjas, father and
mother Uchiha. However you get any, ANY 2 cards in
your deck and put them in your hand. That's one hell
of an effect.
However, of all the Itachi's, this one seems a bit
weaker, except the turn 5 part. I personally like
DatC better.
