Beastly Mage
Tsukuyomi
This version of the Moon God (Tsukuyomi) Jutsu is
pretty good. OK, so only Itachi can use it, but it's
better than the old version. This time you return
your opponent's ninja to his/her hand, look at every
card in hand (after a little shuffling). If the
returned Ninja appears, your opponent puts that
Ninja back in play where it was (and its given one
damage). And the rest of the cards revealed?
Discarded! Pretty decent I say.

Tsukoyomi
A great Jutsu, possibly one of the best. Though it
has a cost of 3 Fire, that isn’t much of a problem.
You damage the Ninja, AND slice a card in their
hand. If it’s not the targeted Ninja (who goes back
into the hand), it’s dead. This can be weakened if
the opponent has multiples of the hit Ninja. Also,
even if it’s a different version it can break the
chain.
It could be a lot better, but rulings weaken it more
than itself.

J-US055 Tsukuyomi.
This card had so much potential. Anyway, on to the
review of this card, as is. First off, only Itachi
can use it, and it costs 3 fire chakra. Right away,
it better have a good effect to justify a specific
requirement and a high specific chakra cost.
Basically, you shuffle an opponent's ninja into
their hand, then reveal cards from their hand at
random until you come across that same card(a
different copy of the same card is fine, but a
different version of the same ninja isn't[I think,
don't quote me]), then you put it back in play in
the same place, in the same status(for effect and
gameplay purposes, it never left the field) and
discard every other card that was revealed, then
give 1 damage to the ninja. Now, this could
potentially discard a few cards from your opponent's
hand, in addition to the 1 damage. It really depends
on how big your opponent's hand is. The bigger it
is, the more likely you'll discard cards, while at
the same time increasing the chances that your
opponent has a card to negate this. The smaller it
is, the less likely this jutsu will be negated, but
also less likely that you'll discard any cards. I
like the premise of this card, and it could be
devestating, but it relies partially on luck, has a
big chakra cost, and only 1 ninja(who only sees play
in Fire decks, and even then sometimes doesn't) can
use it, so I just don't think it is worth it, but
try it out and see for yourself.
Constructed:1.5/5(4/5 in an Itachi based deck)
Limited:1.5/5(high cost, and it isn't likely you'll
pull an Itachi and this, and enough fire cards to
play it, but there are two Itachis in this set, and
an okay amount of fire, so if you pull Itachi, give
this a shot.)

Welcome to Thursday,
February 21st Naruto Card of the Day!
Today's card is Tsukuyomi, a jutsu that only Itachi
can use. However, this new version of Tsukuyomi
isn't quite as good as the old one. This one will
target a ninja battling and put it in their hand,
while you try to pick other cards in their hand to
discard them. When you do pick the ninja however it
will recieve a damage which is a good sign.
3 Fire Chakra, that's pretty costly, but for 1
damage and a chance to get rid of cards is worth it.
However if your opponent has the same card in their
hand already (duplicates), you'll have a worse
chance of getting a different card to discard.
Also, this Tsukuyomi will NOT negate a jutsu being
played. Just so you know, it'll still go off if you
Tsukuyomi a ninja UNLESS the ninja gets killed.
In my opinion, the "trigrams tsukuyomi" is still
better.
