Kiba Inuzaka
[Leading Scout]
Ah, I see he's officially an animal now. Maybe he'll
quit having identity crisis over his species...
Anyway, the ability is a somewhat useful one. Make
him leader and your opponent has to chump-block
doubletime; this could be useful for dominating an
opponent on the defensive. He's only got 2/0, but he
does have growth, so that's something, and there are
always plenty of cheap attack-boosting jutsu out
there.

Kiba
Inuzuka
Finally, a really good version of Kiba! ^_^
[Leading Scout] is a pretty good ninja. Early game,
when your opponent probably has like one ninja out
or single-ninja teams, and you attack, that's like
getting one reward automatically. Late game,
however, it all depends on the situation. Sometimes
it all depends on the luck of the draw.

Alucard of the Abyss
Friday's card:
Kiba Inuzuka [Leading Scout]
This is a card most competitive players will pass
on. While it is an interesting effect, it has little
effect on the metagame unless Tempo becomes a
popular deck choice again. For Tempo it is an
alright choice, but even then there are better
choices as Kiba is a 1 drop and there are more
important cards to fill that spot and what he does
the job of the Client Kaji does a better job. Also,
with new mill cards coming out that revolve around
both Kiba and Akamaru, [Man Beast Clone] is just a
better choice as it can search out a crucial part of
your mill combo if mill becomes top tier.
For casual it's pretty much the same. He can find a
place in Tempo on occasion and maybe if you insist
on playing straight Mono-Fire, but that's really
about it.
Sealed/Draft he could be pretty good. There will be
times when you can score a couple of Battle Rewards
off of his effect and in those formats you really
take any good card you can get. Really the only
format I see him seeing any amount of play in.
Overall, interesting effect but not up to par. Being
a 1 drop really hurts his playability because if he
were a 0 there would be that chance for a free
Battle Reward and there are better Kibas out there
to play.
Ratings:
Competitive: 2/5 (just doesn't have what it takes)
Casual: 2/5 (about the same, better Kibas to choose
in casual)
Sealed/Draft: 3/5 (slightly more useful here)
Overall: 2.5/5 (Cool effect but it really can't find
it's place in most decks)

5. Kiba Inuzuka (
Leading Scout )
Turn 1
kiba, average stats for a Kiba, growth. The
effect is good at the starting, but it's not
valid. Could mean 1 battle reward, or maybe 2.
Might be good in an animal deck.

Kiba Inuzuka [Lead Scout]
NO!!!! If you're going to use Kiba, use [Man Beast
Clone] instead. At least then you'll be able to
search out a FREE Akamaru when you play him. Don't
settle for a poopnose like this Kiba.
