Welcome to another week of reviews. Today's card is
the Naru-Saku platoon. As soon as this card hits the
field it gets a power-up for every two cards in your
hand. Let's say you have six cards in your hand.
This card gets three coins representing +1/+1 each.
Remember, the ammount of coins is rounded down, so
if you have only five cards, you get two coins on
this card. Still, it's a pretty good platoon early
game, when your hand could be pretty big. Late game,
however, it could be dead weight. I've tried this
card in limited, and it's pretty good, but it needs
to be really tested in constructed.
Naruto + Sakura. We
finally have a Naruto and Sakura platoon. And it
isn't too bad. Without the effect it is a 1/1,2/1,
not very good. But the effect says that when this
platoon is played put a +1/+1 coin on this ninja for
every 2 cards in your hand(rounded down.). So if
you had 6 cards in hand when you played this, it
will be a 4/4,5/4, very good on turn 1. Otherwise,
it has clone status and 3 mental power.
Constructed:3/5(if you draw it early, with a
Naruto/Sakura and you didn't mulligan, 4/5)
Limited:3/5(There are a few Narutos and maybe a
Sakura or two in this set, and this is a good early
strong ninja.)
