Beastly Mage
Shooting Star
Welcome to another week of reviews. This
week we'll be reviewing cards from the
newest expansion "The Chosen". As most of
you know this set is composed in part of old
cards reprinted and some of them with new
effect text. Today we look at Shooting Star.
This card targets one of your Genin-Level
Ninjas and changes its name to "Shooting
Star". Let's say you want to have two Ino
(US Formation) in your village. Change the
first Ino's name to Shooting Star, deploy
the second one, and you'll have some fun
choosing the head Ninjas. That's just one
thing you can do with this card. Try it and
see.

Wyatt
Shooting Star. The entire point behind this
card is to allow you to have 2 of the same ninja in
play at the same time. The only problem is,
with this mission, it has to be a Genin ninja.
However, it does not say Genin only, so you could
use this on a platoon that included a Genin and a
Jonin or Sannin or whatever. It has some
potential in combos, such as having out 2 Ino(or Ino/Inoichi),
or have 2 Gaara(Whichever, all Gaaras, besides baby
Gaara and Shukaku are Genin). If you are going
to run this, have a plan, because as nice as it may
be to have 2 Naruto OLA out, it might not be worth
it, so be sure to put this on a ninja that if you
could have 2 out, would give you massive control.
Constructed:3/5(4/5 in the right deck)
Limited:1/5(Unless you pull 2 really good Genins(same
name), this is just not worth it.)
Meemaas
shooting star
a one turn earth mission that changes a ninja's
name, which can be useful in decks where you may
want more than one copy of the same ninja in play,
too bad its so badly restricted to genin ninja's
only, however that still allows you to target gaara
IP or TN and it also can target platoons..., or
possibly shika USf so you can throw two of them out
to battle each turn.
constructed 2/5 i find it hard to use it right
limited 2/5 even harder to use right
