Beastly Mage
Zabuza Momochi [Suicide Attack]
Here we have a vengeful version of Zabuza. His
effect (a valid one, BTW), makes him a real
killer. When he's discarded either by result of the
showdown or by a Ninja effect (Baki, anyone?) you
can give two damage to one of your opponent's ninjas
that battled against him. On top of that the effect
can't be negated! That makes him just as cool. He's
quite good... but is he better than Demon of the
Cloud Village? That'll be answered by time itself.

Zabuza Momochi(Suicide Attack).
A new Super rare Zabuza. This and Demon of
Cloud(should me Mist) Village are the two best
Zabuzas. Anyway, this one has the same stats
as before, nothing new. The effect is what is
special here. Valid: When he's discarded due
to the showdown or the effect of an opponent's ninja
you can deal two damage to 1 ninja battling against
him. AND this effect cannot be negated.
Very nice for chump blocking, or for putting the
pressure on your opponent.
lets look at this thing, 5 turn, one hand cost,
stats of 6/2 4/1, so thats all standard, his effect
on the other hand is awesome, if he dies, by your
opponents ninja (effect or otherwise), you get to
deal 2 damage to one ninja that was just battling
him, and his effect cannot be negated. this is a
really good card, although to me, demon of the cloud
village was the best, this one sits right up there
next to the demon. yes, i see it as just that good,
admittedly, if he's removed from play or killed by a
jutsu, his effect won't go off, but then thats why
we have stuff such as hidden mist jutsu. hands
down, run it if you run water, but not demon,
otherwise shrug it off until someone finds a way to
make it uber broken (suicidal action possibly?)

Nothing like a walking land mine.
Fight me, you better be prepared for the
consequences. The problem is, there are a good
amount of ways to get around his effect.
Bounce it away (Giant Vortex) or block with a team
that can stop him, but you don't care if his effect
goes off (Choji Formation's effect works great
here).
It's a good effect, but can be
worked around. Not a bad card though.

N. Jolly
Zabuza Momochi: Suicidal Attack
N. Jolly here again, with one of
my favorite cards of the new set, The demon of cloud
village himself, Zabuza! And he has an effect that
everyone can love: When Zabuza is discarded due to
the showdown or a ninja effect, he deals two damage
to any ninja battling him that turn, and his effect
is unnegatable! With old Zabuza stats to back
that up on turn five, 6/2, 4/2, he's pretty hard not
to get behind. And his effect being
unstoppable doesn't hurt either. He can
be used as a shield, a ramrod, or a...well, he has a
few uses. He's a turn five that'll really help
out water's horrid late game(pause for laugh).
Now this is an SR I can get behind!(My high marks
have nothing to do with the fact that I'm going out
for Halloween as Haku, with my friend as Zabuza).
Constructed: 4.5...good card...
Limited: 4.5...still good...
Alucard of the Abyss
I apologize to anyone who looks
forward to my CotD reviews since they have been MIA
for the past couple of weeks now. I won't submit any
reviews this week since I have to finish preparing
to go to an anime con and will be there until late
Memorial Day. Starting after that though I expect to
continue reviewing the CotDs in full force again
like I used to.
