Beastly Mage
This
week's first non-SR!
Today's card is pretty basic. For two Lightning it
can duplicate your Ninja's combat value. That's
pretty good. Problem is that the Ninja doesn't get
Clone Status (at least for the turn). In Limited
this could help, but there are better options in
constructed. Not much more to say...
Another version of this card, yes, but a decent one
this time. Now, I believe that the super rare
version is still better, but this one is more easily
accessible to most players. Anyone can use this
jutsu, but its kind of expensive. Esentially, it
doubles the users current combat value. So, a
healthy Jiraiya becomes a 14 power with this. Too
bad it only works for combat power and not support.
For the cost, it should honestly. Oh well, can’t
have it all in a jutsu card, can we?

Art: Yay for Shippuden, once more. (Now if I can
only get a card with the Shippuden Hinata on it…)

Shadow Clone Jutsu
First off, as usual, I have been busy as usual, but
things are calming down, so I should be back and be
more consistent with doing COTD’s. Today we look at
SCJ, from the next upcoming set Approaching Wind.
Shadow Clone Jutsu is a Lightning based Jutsu
requiring 2 Lightning Chakra to use. The effect says
that the user gets +X/+0 where x is the user’s
combat value. So if your combat was 4, this Jutsu
would double it to 8. It’s definitely not a bad
Jutsu card as there are no requirements aside from
paying the chakra cost and using it on someone with
a relatively high combat value.
This is Gigantic Fan bait though, so it might have
some problems seeing play as there are better cards
out there. I kind of like this card though.
