Beastly Mage
Hayate
Gekko
Today's card is a new version of Hayate. This time,
he packs better stats than his Mission-Negating
version. Thing is his effect... will you get to use
it? His team can't be blocked by a one-Ninja team
that's composed of a turn-1 or less Ninja. Sure, he
can get through the chump blockers, but the moment
will come when he's gonna be facing bigger and
better Ninjas.

It’s election day and its time for your decision!
Our new president is…Hayate Gekko?
Heh, I’m tired of politics too, but there are
reviews to be done! Today we have the set 11 rare,
Hayate Gekko.
This card has intrigued me since they previewed it.
At first, I thought it’s effect was really great.
Then I looked a little closer and it wasn’t so
amazing to me. Essentially, this Hayate prevents
your opponent from chump blocking with low turn
ninja. Given, this isn’t a terrible effect, but
personally I think I’d rather have a floating
mission negate sitting around than this effect.
However, it may depend on your meta as to weather or
not this will see play. This Hayate has great stats
though, compared to other versions who drop like a
rock once they get hit.

VERY good. I'm considering this card as one of
Fire's best 3 drops. Those stats are killer, and he
jumps past most chump blockers, or any team with
Shikamaru, Sakura, Sasuke, etc.
A great card.

Art: Crippy. Er, crappy.
Fun Fact: Queen Eleanor was a women.
Tomorrow: Michael Jackson. Oops, gave it away.
