Beastly Mage
Kiba Inuzuka
[Strong Bonds] is one card I trully like. OK, so I'm
a bit partial to the "House of Dogs" (Inuzka) Clan,
and this version of Kiba fits well into Animal
decks. First of all, he's got the "Animal"
Characteristic, plus growth AND a cool effect. When
he's injured you can heal him if Akamaru is in his
team (but Akamaru has to be healthy). Aside from the
situation, this Ninja is pretty solid for
Mill/Animal decks. He's a new Starter deck exclusive
too.

Kiba Inuzuka [Strong Bonds]
Todayʼs COTD is a preview card from the upcoming
Sasuke starter deck. I like the new template for the
cards. Itʼs a treat for our eyes after 10 sets of
the same template over and over again.
So this Kiba auto-heals if Akamaru is in the same
team as him. Very nice effect. If you get the two
ninjas out by turn 1, you have some good blockers to
keep you alive till you drop your Sasuke [OC],
Kakashi, and Itachi or 3rd Hokage. Will it replace
Kiba [Man Beast Clone]? My guess is probably not.
The problem with this Kiba is that if you donʼt have
Akamaru in your hand, then you have a weak ninja in
your hand with stats 2/0 healthy and 0/0 injured
that has no beneficial effect. Probability-wise, if
you were to run a deck with 3 Kibas and 2 Akamarus,
you might have both in your hand on turn 1 less than
40% of the time (not taking into consideration
Sakura [ADP] or Drifting Clouds).
But a potential combo regarding this card would be
the Futaba draw engine. Run some Kibas, Akamarus,
and Hinata [Ointment] comboed with Drifting Clouds
and Futaba and you have yourself a semi-consistent
draw engine. Itʼs cool that we have this new Kiba,
but the fact that you need to combo this with
another specific card drives down the playability of
this card (especially with the card limit going to
50).

alright, todays card is kiba, lets look at him
now...
he has the standard kiba stats and attribute thingys
including growth...now lets look at his effect, if
he is injured but there is an akamaru in his team
that is healthy at the end of your turn you can heal
him...now looking at it right away you see simple
things such as he heals himself if he loses a
battle, however he also combos well with suicidal
action which could lead to a lot of abuse. all in
all a really nice card for a turn 0

Kiba[Strong Bonds]
Today we are reviewing a starter exclusive Kiba
which is going to be coming out in the upcoming
Approaching Wind starters and he also has a new card
template which is very cool.
He’s the same Kiba you’ve known, 2/0 Growth, Genin,
Male, and Animal. His effect allows you to heal if
you have an Akamaru in healthy status in the same
team at the end of the turn. I prefer using the old
Kiba that searches for Akamaru. This one has some
potential, but I still think the old one is a lot
better,

Kiba [Strong Bonds]- Good Card For stalling when
youre up against a powerful team or ninja. This card
wiill be at 4 power when Akamaru [Reliable Partner]
is in its team. And you just wait till turn 3 and
bring out Double Headed wolf and go crazy. Good Card
for mill.
