Beastly Mage
Anko
Mitarashi
Today's card is a new version of Anko. She's got the
usual stats for her. The effect is OK, I guess. When
she attacks she can only be blocked by teams
composed of 2 Ninjas or less during the turn. That
means she's safe from really big teams (like Sasori
and like a gajillion other puppet-coin Ninjas >.<).
Other than that she's a decent turn 3 drop. Try it
and see.

Anko Mitarashi
[Chase]
Fun card here! This is actually a pretty new effect
that we’ve never seen before. When Anko attacks, she
can only be blocked by a team of 2 or less ninja.
The nice thing is, she can sit in any deck
effectively. Of course, where she is gonna do the
most damage is tempo, and most likely a bit of
OC/Tailed Beast decks. Drop her behind your
invincible Naruto and swing. Because of how your
opponent would have to organize their ninja, it
would be hard for them to overwhelm Naruto, which is
really the only way to deal with him. Puppets
however can get around her effect by blocking with a
puppet user, then swinging the puppets into their
team. Anything else though, will have issues with
her.

Thursday 4/9 - Anko Mitarashi [Chase] - Lightning -
Ninja
Today's Anko is interesting, and seems from the
outside to be an option for Tempo. At first glance
that is. It's like she has a reverse Kiba [Leading
Scout] effect; can't be be blocked by a team of 3
(or more in rare cases), though she does not need to
be the head ninja. This makes her more or less
useless in the early game, and situational in the
late game. Likely your opponent won't have all teams
of three with some chump blocker somewhere, so her
effect just stops your opponent's huge teams from
blocking her. That isn't a bad thing, but if running
into chump blockers isn't your thing, then you will
be hard pressed to find a scenario for her.
She has solid stats for a head Ninja and keeps the 4
Power, but personally I'd go with Blocking the
Ambition for the utility uses it has.
Constructed: 2.1 out of 5.0 (Better Anko in Blocking
the Ambition.)
Limited: 4.5 out of 5.0 (Her effect can have use in
sealed with solid stats.)

Anko [Chase]
Today, we get a new Anko. I remember way back then,
when people complained that we needed a new one, and
now we're getting another Anko next set. Is she
good? Let's see.
She's good.
In a nutshell, you can't block Anko with a full
team. She's a great Puppet counter (maybe), she has
cool stats (4 combat in both stats means the
opponent will be reluctant to damage her, and
minimizes the damage of losing her effect), Proctor,
Special Jonin, and [1] Mental. She's a simple card,
and there's no way to go into detail with her effect
other than it's pretty good late-game and mid-game,
and with the right support, can be deadly.
