Ninja Dog
Squad (All Gathered)
Today's card is the probably the only squad with
more than three names on it. Ninja Dog Squad (All
Gathered) has some solid stats both in healthy and
injured status, and three mental power. Along with
the Ninja Dog and Animal characteristics. This card
comboes well with Kakashi Hatake [Anbu Days]. If the
dogs are in the same team as him... you can guess
just how much he'll have just with them. Downside is
that this squad has no effect, but that can be a
good thing since it doesn't require yesterday's card
do be put in play (neither does it require a
summoning jutsu or anything like that). Dunno just
how well this card will work in limited, but in a
Ninja Dog deck... *grins*

Ninja Dog Squad - Lightning and Ninja Dog Squad (All
Gathered) - Lightning
So what is there to say about these cards? It's
Lightning. It's another dog. Ninja Dog Squad has
great T1 stats: 0/2 that injures to 0/1 isn't
something you see every day, or even much at all, as
Shikamaru and Temari both injure to 0/0. Their
effect leaves something to be desired as you're more
or less charging a card to bring out Ninja Dog Squad
(All Gathered) a turn or two early. All Gathered is
attracted to the number 3 with T3, MP 3, and 3/3
stats all around. That's a solid Ninja overall, and
can be pumped by Iruka [Accurate Analysis].
So what's my problem? Simple. Pakkun. Pakkun is part
of the big squad, so you can't run [Hidden
Intelligence] for some uber annoyance +2/+2
shenanigans. So if you want to run the vanilla
theme, you're losing one of your key Ninjas. That's
not a good thing. So in a sense you're restricted to
running just the Dog Squad, and they'd be better off
vanilla so they could get pumped.
That said I don't think it is necessarily a bad
thing to run a few of either dog (depending if you
are going with Pakkun or not) in a dog deck for a
few more dogs to Kakashi Hatake [Anbu Days] into
play, or just want a solid Ninja with solid stats.
Running both, IMO, seems like not a great plan,
because there are too many variables and the risk is
not worth the reward. You'd need both in hand T1,
not run Pakkun, only get a slightly premature 3/3
beatstick, and have lost a card in hand.
Restrictions are not so fun.
Ninja Dog Squad:
Limited: 4.5/5 - 0/2 Ninja that injures well as a T1
is perfectly runnable.
Constructed: 2.7/5 - Has uses with decent stats, but
effect isn't all that great.
Ninja Dog Squad (All Gathered):
Limited: 4.5/5 - Really great stats. What's not to
like outside if it being a T3?
Constructed: 3.2/5 - Seems to be decent, but no
effect with no Pakkun is frowns.

Doggy Squad
Now HERE we go! Look at that Characteristic line!
Wo-oah snaps!
Characteristic Line (Lightning)
T3 HC1
Target: 1 Ninja
Effect: Win one BR for everything on its
Characteristic Line.
Doggy Squad is an excellent card!!! Iruka boosts it
to mono 4/4, but mono 3/3 without a hand cost is
excellent anyway! Very versatile, and it'll be one
FREAKING huge boost to Puppy Mill. Iruka + Inuzuka
Clan = Mono 5/5? Check, please!
I really don't have to go into detail. Add in 3
Mental and you've got an absolutely GREAT card that
Puppy Mill decks will flip out for! Now, try this
combo out!
Iruka + Inuzuka Clan means this deck has a constant
power of 17!!! Or 16, but that can go up even
higher! Expect to see quite a few Puppies at your
local tournaments soon.
4.5/5

Ninja Dog Squad (All Gathered)
A boost to ninja dog decks everywhere, and finally
some support on a low turn Lightning ninja. Gotta
love it. With the effect of the Ninja Dog Squad
previewed yesterday, you can drop this on turn 1,
and get some free Chakra! What’s to argue about
here? Worst case scenario, you drop this on turn 3.
It can also take a hit just fine, as non of its
stats drop.
Thing that weirds me out here is that it has 3
mental…I find it odd that a pack of dogs is smarter
than a lot of ninja we have seen. Not that I’m
complaining, lightning needed a mental boost
somewhere.
