Beastly Mage
Sasuke
Uchiha
Today's card is a new, grown-up, version of
everybody's favorite Emo Ninja: Sasuke. This
version, a Sound/Water version, can give one damage
to one of your Ninjas, just so you can give one
damage to one of your opponent's Ninjas with the
same (or lower) entrance cost than the injured
Ninja. It's a decent effect, and one that can come
in handy to get rid of small Ninjas that are just
annoying the heck out of you. He's a good choice for
Water decks, though you do have to take into
consideration that he's got no rank like the Fire
version from the Starters. Still, a double combat
attribute, Sharingan Eye, and great stats are
nothing to laugh about... when you're facing them
that is!

N. Jolly
N-548 Sasuke Uchiha: Cold Headed
Don't ask Sasuke if he knows N. Jolly, because he
don't know...such guy.
I've been waiting to review this card for awhile
now, and not just because his giant head makes me
smile! This time around, Sasuke is Water (which as
a Fire player, I hate, but still run because he is
awesome), T4, and is massively overstatted at 6/2,
2/0. Not to mention he has two combat attributes;
Genjutsu/Weapon. Not having a rank does hurt, but
it's made up for a hundred times over (to me) by
having Growth. Growth means I can play my massively
overstatted T0 vanilla FR Sasuke, than on T4 Growth
him into my newly 7/3, 3/1 super ninja and still
deploy a ninja, hopefully Shizune. But that's not
all!...I miss Billy Mays...
When this ninja is sent out to battle, you may give
one damage to one ninja on your side of the board.
If you do, give one damage to one ninja on your
opponent's side of the board with an entrance cost
equal to or lower than the ninja you
damaged...that's incredible! That goes off before
your opponent can respond, which makes it pretty
much unchainable if they attack, and only
respondable on block by Gaara TN and The Third
Hokage APW. This ninja has won way too many
matches, and even seeing him on the board makes him
a target the second you see him enter play. I can't
count how many times I've had him tear through an
opponent's field on ninja at a time, screwing over
F&L decks and slowly crippling puppets with
incredible ease. With a decent healing engine (Ino,
Shizune, Tsunade) and Futaba (Who should be the next
limited client) you have a draw engine that feeds
your Sasuke abuse.
Constructed: 5/5 He's too good for this world...
Limited: 5/5 I'd like it noted that this card
qualifies for both my "FR isn't possible in Limited"
and "First word I thought when I saw this card"
review, so...I...um..."DOES NOT COMPUTE!!"/5
Art:...could not matter less with a card this
broken/5
StormVyper Zera
Sasuke Uchiha [Cold Headed]
Contrary to popular belief, this card isn't as
overpowered as some would think. A lot of people
compared this card to Gaara [Tragic Name], a known
staple for the utterly ridiculous plays his effect
allows him. Now, this card doesn't have an effect
quite as powerful as [Tragic Name], but he still
shouldn't be taken lightly. The timing for his
effect makes it nearly unblockable, however, he is a
bit limited since he has to use high-level ninja as
ammunition in order to 'shoot' your opponent's
high-level ninja. In a control deck built around
how, this card is a champion. He combos
exceptionally well with cards like Itachi
[Formidable Visual Jutsu] and Tsunade [Establishment
of Medicine], as well as with healing tricks like
Shizune [Medical Kunoichi] and Ino [Get Well Soon
Gift].
Happy thursday to you all, today's card is a very
popular one recently:
Sasuke Uchiha N-548
Well, what can I say, as if he weren't popular
enough he now has a chibi version lol. Well Cold
Hearted has overpumped (H:6/2, I:2/0) stats for turn
4 with no hand cost. He has sharingan eye, growth
and an amount of new missions to tutor him out now
that he's not Leaf and is Sound+Rogue Ninja *wink
wink*
So, what does his non valid effect do? He snipes
a ninja every time he's sent out to battle on your
opponent's side of the field for one damage. Not
bad, what else? He needs to hit one of your ninjas
with the same or higher entrance cost than your
opponent's targeted ninja which is a fair trade,
makes him balanced and not overpowered because you
require field presence in order to make good use of
his effect. Now he's a great ninja all around but
not broken like other people say because he needs a
deck built around him to work properly and he
doesn't shift the game on his own so there's no
problem with him as you could lose using his effect
if not used correctly. Other people say you can
combine him with Ino[GWSG] and Zabuza[BP], in a
sense you can if the ninja your hitting was already
injured and they get healed to then be used again,
but note that the healing effects are mandatory and
Sasuke's is optional which means he falls later in a
different chain and not at the moment they cure so
you can't chain their heal to his effect unless an
optional healing effect of being out to battle comes
out in another ninja his effect will remain balanced
by this.
Awesome example of a great card and he's Sasuke,
what's more to say?
Limited: 4/5 (Great but can't get 100% use out of
him)
Constructed: 4.5/5 (Almost perfect card)
