Monday 6/29 - Sasori [The Best Toy]
Regardless of the fact that he's technically
supposed to be a puppet deck character, who cares?
Recycle put in play Ninjas like Temari [Wind Scythe]
and Shino [Insect Warriors], and suicide swing
because the Ninja's going to die anyway. Gaara
[Tragic Name] fodder. Chiyo, Kankuro, or Ebizo for
some puppet advantage. Whatever. His stats might not
be the greatest for combat healthy, but his support
is good and you'll be using his effect more often
than not (though the chakra is heavy), so you can
drop your suicide expert as head anyway.
He's quite good and I can see him more heavily
played once Kankuro [Tactician] finally goes on the
restrict list July 6.
Constructed: 4.6 out of 5.0 (Very good, lots of
options. Could be played in standard decks as well.)
Limited: 1.8 out of 5.0 (You're not going to get him
to work.)

N-542 Sasori-The Best Toy
Hello again, my many and beautiful fans! Today we
start with one of the most expensive, and in my
opinion, overrated cards of the set.
Sasori is simply a better version of the last set
ninja of the same name, except this one has Ambush,
which honestly makes it a lot better, especially
with Sasori of the Red Sand at 1...His stats for the
turn are pretty good, but Puppets really need
someone who isn't a support character leading them,
as every other puppet master does a great job of
that...and all three other ones have the same
healthy stats...I really think Sasori should have
Deidara stats, but that's just me...
Onto his effect, you can burn two Wind chakra to
deploy a ninja from your discard pile, If you do
that, the deployed ninja is removed from the game at
the end of the turn. That's...not really that good.
Since it's deployed, you have to pay hand cost (I'm
pretty sure of this) and it burns your deployment
for the turn. And really the best on element target
to hit is Temari, and if by this point you don't
have Shika/Mari or Tem/Kank on board, you're
probably pretty sad. The best targets for this ninja
to hit are off element, like some horrible
Wind/Water deck idea...I may build that...also it's
a good ninja if only for the fact that you need it
in play if you want to play The Third Kazekage, who
will never be reviewed...ever!
Rating
Constructed:3/5 He's good for a T5 Wind, but not for
much else
Limited:4/5 This is really just based on his
price...wait, you can't even play Limited with FR,
so forget the four out of five. I'll give it a
rating based on whatever combination of words I
think of, so this card gets a Ultimate Dragon
King/5.
Art:4/5 He's one sexy ginger!

Sasori [The Best Toy]
I'm not quite sure why we're previewing this card
for the second time, but I haven't really changed my
mind much about this guy. He's still a pretty good
card, but he's not making as big a splash in
competitive play as some people may have thought he
would, and I really don't see that changing in the
near future. Guess we'll just have to wait for
Emerging Alliance to see if he picks up any new toys
to play with
Limited: 3/5
Constructed: 4/5

Hey there guys, welcome to what the heck week.
That's right, what the heck week, it's the week
that'll make you say that as you see it progress lol
:P
Above you can find my thoughts on this card through
the link, I will however update you on it's current
status with possibly a different rating.
Not much has happened since he was reviewed last
time, actually, nearly nothing at all. However he's
seeing more play lately and has become substantially
harder to find. He's a great ninja and should be
given such respect, as to its effect, its still
going wild as ever. However, I think Sasori
[Legendary Puppet Creator] deserves a chance as well
and has been blatantly sacked because it carries no
Ambush. This Sasori is going to see more use due to
the newest update to the rogue list in puppet decks.
As good as it was last time I reviewed it, maybe a
smudge more useful now.
Limited: 3.5/5 (Good here, deserves .5 more lol)
Constructed: 4/5 (Hasn't gotten that godly as to get
.5 more here)
