Wednesday 6/31 - Kidomaru [Elite of the Sound]
So unless you're playing those silly Gate missions,
it's going to be T3 through T6 dropping the Sound 4
guys before you can use Kidomaru's effect. How about
no. How about running actual good cards like Second,
Zabuza, and Kisame with Ghost Panic, instead of
mid-range guys with next to no upside. If I wanted
Kidomaru, I'd run a good one with an effect I can
actually use.
Constructed: 1.1 out of 5.0 (No.)
Limited: 2.5 out of 5.0 (At least he's a 4/2 2/2
with Ambush.)

N-535 Kidomaru-Elite of the Sound
Yeah, this makes tons of sense...puppets and
Kidomaru...
This Kido has all the same stats you remember from
Kido the last time we saw him, so no need to look
over that. His new effect is that while you have all
the sound 4 in play (or can fake it with
missions*Wink*) you can flip a coin twice during
your mission phase. If it's heads twice, you win a
battle reward. That's a really good effect, but it's
not Valid, just like every other ability so far. The
best of the new sound 4 abilities, but being the
best out of a pile of sad still doesn't make it
good. Stay away from Kido in stage 1, as the only
good Kido is in stage 2, who actually sees play some
of the time.
Rating
Constructed:1/5 Yeah, it's not seeing play.
Limited:1/5 Seeing even less play, but can't go
below one. And this card's "No way FR Limited is
possible" rating is Tobi is a Good Boy/5
Art:1/5 Naw, he's a horrible spider man, and he
makes me sad.

Kidomaru [Elite of the Sound]
Ok, Kidomaru's have got an uphill battle, because
[How to Beat the Game] dishing out free Damage based
solely on the flip of one coin is a pretty powerful
effect to go against. Naturally, this card is
nowhere near as consistent or potentially game
changing as his State 2 counterpart. Not only is
assembling and maintaining a field of all 4 Sound
Four Ninja an immensely difficult task (trust me,
I've tried it), but his effect delivers no real
guarantee that you'll ever get a payoff from him
with any sort of consistency. Flipping a coin is
pretty meh, but flipping two coins means I better be
getting something damn good if I connect with both
coin flips. Sadly, all you get is 1 Battle Reward.
Lame~ The amount of work it takes for this guys
effect to even come online, coupled with the low
chance of you ever cashing in on it makes this a
pretty bad card. Maybe if he only needed one coin
flip or got a bigger payout for succeeding, he'd get
a better rating from me.

Kidomaru N-535
Another print of the long gone sound four member,
Kidomaru. He's a turn 3 with no state on its
characteristics, his same stats and he's got ambush
which is honestly the only positive of this copy of
him.
His effect requires four ninjas to be in play and
the ace two coin flips. Unless the effect reads "you
win the game" it's just no lol. There are better
copies of him out there, MUCH better.
Limited: 2/5 (He's not bad here due to stats and
ambush)
Constructed: 1/5 (Yea right)
