Beastly Mage
Welcome to
today's Card of the Day. Tenten is up!
This version of Tenten is by far, the one I like the
most. First off, she's got some nice stats
(including "growth" and 2 mental power). Second, the
effect is perfect for Earth/Weapon Decks. During the
Exchange of Jutsu you can move one Jutsu card that
requires a "Weapon" combat attribute user from your
hand to your Chakra Area, and in that case you can
give one damage to one Ninja battling her team (a
Ninja with an entrance cost of 3 or less). Remember,
it's the Jutsu cards that say "Requirement: Weapon
Combat Attribute". This is one card that trully
deserves a spot in the Weapon deck. Try it and see.
Ratings:
Limited: 2/5 (Solid stats, and the possibility of
drafting the right Jutsus)
Constructed: 3.5/5 (She could do more damage here)
Art: ^_^/5 (even though she's mad)
She's a 2/2 all around with a nifty effect.
Basically during the Exchange of Jutsu you charge a
Requirements: Weapon Jutsu to deal a damage to a T3
or less. Damage is always a good thing, especially
against pesky Ninjas like Naruto [Control of Power]
and Valid guys. We all know Gaara these days.
The problem with Tenten is that it requires you to
run Weapon jutsus, for which there aren't too many
extremely playable ones at the moment. She can be a
good start to a Weapon deck filled with Jutsus that
can turn into damage for -1 chakra cost, but then
there goes [Summoning Weapons].
Unfortunately this stamping of Tenten regulates her
to Weapon decks for optimal use, which we haven't
really been able to create competitively as of yet.
But it's a start.
Constructed: 2.8 out of 5.0 (Great effect but
stamped to a currently subpar archetype. Could
change in the future.)
Limited: 3.0 out of 5.0 (Average grade; ok stats
with effect that won't be used.)

Today we are previewing a new tenten from set 13.
This card has the ability to charge a weapon jutsu
from your hand to give 1 damage to a ninja that's
turn 3 or less. Wait? it's not valid? oh that's
awful.......
Back when we were at 40, this could maybe sneak into
decks. Right now? it's just not going to cut it in
competitive play. One thing that would've helped was
validity because the tenten you'd growth it off of
(summoning weapons from set 10) isn't valid, so
you'd get a +2/+2 (1 from growth 1 because of the
stat boost) and an effect. Sadly, that was not the
case.
Constructed: 2 out of 5. There's a much better
tenten
art: 3 out of 5. Pretty neat art.
Poo Toucher AWAYYY!
That Guy
Tenten
Now presenting....duh duh duh dahhhh.....That Guy!
Thank you, thank you, but enough about me, let's
talk about someone who hasn't been under a spotlight
in a very long time. I'm talking about TENTEN!
For those of you who play Naruto, Tenten is a Naruto
character who's teamed with Rock Lee and Neji and
has had as much camera time before the time skip as
Teuchi, the owner of Ichiraku Ramen Bar.
Tenten (Attack in Waves) is quite possibly the best
Tenten we have ever received. Her stats for a turn 2
ninja are fair and stay the same when injured. She
has growth, two mental, but sadly her effect isn't
valid. With Tenten's effect you can drop an extra
card for chakra that has a requirement "weapon
combat attribute". Then you can injure a ninja with
an entrance cost of 3 or less battling against her.
Now this isn't the best effect ever but it does
allow Tenten to set up for Rising Twin Dragon, there
is also another card that has RTD's effect but for
free but it doesn't come to mind. Then going through
the whole Kunai combo for your boost. Honestly,
weapon's been given a few tricks here and there but
nothing that makes it competitive; this card
including.
Constructed: 4/5(In a weapons deck)
2.5/5 (In an Earth deck)
Limited: ?/5 I know as much about the next set as
you. But if there is any weapon support then 3/5
Art: I bet she a pocket knife with a thousand
attachments!

Today we have the Meg of Naruto, Tenten. Sort of an
ugly picture, but you can clearly see that both
Tenten and Neji have recently been training in the
ways of the force.
All she lets you do is, basically, turn a Weapon
jutsu into damage. An excellent effect, and would be
ridiculous in a Weapon deck.
However, Tenten has the distinct downside of being
named Tenten. Yes, we all know it's a funny name,
but if you could use [Summoning Weapons] alongside
this same Tenten, you could be scoring free brunette
damage every turn. Sadly, even in a weapon deck, SW
would still be the better choice. Shooting Star
could break this card and have your opponent wave a
white flag, but that's just bad for consistency.
Other than the effect, she just has average stats
(2/2-2/2) with Growth. Nice, but not awesome, and
the combat is irrelevant, since you shouldn't be
using her as a head ninja. Finally, nonvalid effect
:(
2/5 (4.5/5 if she had her name legally changed)
Art: Ugly brunette Jedi gunna cut you
Fun Fact: Tenten is one of Kishimoto's favorite
characters, but even that doesn't warrent her a
life.

Tenten
[Attack in Waves]
Today we continue our earth theme with Tenten! She’s
certainly an interesting card, not as useful as Ino
from yesterday however. This Tenten can ping your
opponents ninja by only sending a single weapon
combat attribute jutsu to your chakra area. Pretty
decent, free chakra and a damage to one of your
opponents ninja? I like. Of course, this will see
the most use in weapon decks, generally with a form
of recycling. She’s not valid, so keep her
protected.
Limited: N/A We don’t know if there are weapon jutsu
in this set yet.
Constructed: 3/5 In a weapon deck.

Tenten [Attack in Waves]
We continue Earth week with Tenten [Attack in Waves]
from set #13, A Fateful Reunion. Her effect is
obviously good, turning any Weapon jutsu into a free
1 Damage if the target has an Entrance Cost of 3 or
less, which adds a bit more depth to what the deck's
Jutsu lineup can actually do. This card is
definitely a step in the right direction as far as
boosting the Weapon archetype goes, but she's
outclassed in a dedicated Weapon deck by Tenten
[Summoning Weapons]. I like this card quite bit, but
in a Weapon deck, I would assume you'd want to
actually use those Iron Chains/Nunchaku and then of
course use them some more. However, this card
definitely adds a bit of depth to the Weapon deck's
Jutsu line-up. I'd definitely try her out as a
one-of, but as of right now, I feel [Summoning
Weapons] has got her beat. Don't feel bad [Attack in
Waves], she better than a lot of Tenten.
Constructed: 3.0 out of 5.0 (She's a good card, but
there's a better Tenten for the Weapon theme)
Art: Those are some pretty cool kunai she's
sporting. <3
