Beastly Mage
Ino
Yamanaka
Today we have a Chunin version of Ino. Her
characteristics almost didn't fit into one line!
Medical, Chunin, Growth, Mental of 1... plus a
double combat characteristic of Medicine and Mind!
Also, her stats make her pretty good as a back Ninja
(as always). Now, the effect is a good one too. When
a Ninja on your opponent's side is put in play that
Ninja gets -1/-1 for that turn only, but it could be
useful to make your opponent maybe think twice
before attacking. Sometimes just one point is
crucial for a win or a loss. In limited, she's good.
In constructed, even better. Try it and see!

Ino Yamanaka [Stranger]
And here's the new Shippuden Ino. She has excellent
stats, a bit better than Shikamaru's, and she even
has Growth. She zaps the opponent's ninjas for -1/-1
when they're first put in play. Could be better, but
she's great for stalling. But, two issues with her.
If you want stalling, Turn 2 is 2 late to start
stalling, because by that time, you'll be getting
little use out of the stalling. Second problem, the
same thing every Shippuden character suffers from,
more Kakashi Syndrome. Are you going to play this
Ino over [Gift]? Most likely not, especially since
Gift, especially with Choji usF, is better stalling
than this.
But then there's the obvious fact that by Growthing
her, you have a 4-support ninja. In mono-Earth, 2
Gift and 1 Stranger can be a pretty good lineup if
you're short on ninjas.

Art: Ino is the ugliest child in all the gumdrop
forest.
Tomorrow: Took them long enough to make something
like this.
Fun Fact: The new YuGiOh game for the DS has
niiiiiiice graphics.

Ino Yamanaka [Stranger?]
Right off the bat, I like 3 support on Turn 2, and
Medical and Medicine Combat are pretty nice as well.
Now, when you're opponent drops a Ninja into play,
this card automatically gives them -1/-1. The
problem is the fact that it isn't permanent and Ino
herself isn't Valid. At the very least, I feel the
-1/-1 should've carried over into your turn. Oh
well.
