Beastly Mage
Sealing
Barrier
Today's card is a little jewel in the new Rouge
List. Sealing Barrier can pretty much nuke your
opponent's strategy. Let's say they use Long Awaited
Reinforcements and look for a Ninja. You counter
with this once he or she reveals that Ninja, and you
just removed all of those Ninja cards from the game!
Same goes with all those other tutoring missions out
there. Also, if your opponent plays Kankuro, hoping
to get Salamander out on the field, this card will
get rid of that critter in an instant. In
constructed, this is one card to fear (if only a
little, LOL).

N. Jolly
M-486 Sealing Barrier
Hello, my little droogies, it is I, your daring
protagonist, N. Jolly. And today, we've got a card
that tends to invoke a bit of the old ultra
violence. It's real horror show, this card. Real
horror show...
(10 points to the person who can guess the movie
that came from in my deck garage...and later I'll
figure out if points do anything...)
Today's card is one that has caused a lot of
controversy, including getting an errata even before
it came out. Even after that, people are crying for
it to be banned or limited to one, even in it's
current form. The card is simple enough: T2 HC1
Water/Wind counter mission, name one card and if
it's your opponent's hand, remove it and all copies
of it in their deck from the game.
Seems simple, but it really does strike down theme
decks pretty hard. Imagine hitting Gaara in a
Shukaku deck (I love using examples of decks that
aren't going to see play!), or hitting NVS in an NVS
deck (a more likely scenario). The only problem is
that unless you have some way to see their hand,
you're running in blind, hoping to hit their best
card before they hammer you with it.
Is it a good card? Yeah, it is. You can deck around
it with cards like Temari [Wind Scythe], Kiba [Ninja
Art of Beast Mimicry], and Temari & Kankuro [Menace
of the Sand], but if you're decking around a card,
it's not really broken. Do I think it should have
been made? Not really. It's a cool effect, but with
how this game works, it hurts too much if it hits
something vital.
Constructed:4/5 It's a strong card, and it can be a
game ender
Limited:2/5 Just not a lot of ways to abuse it here
Art:I...just don't really get it...but yeah, Sasori
is still dead, real horror show.../5
