Beastly Mage
Kakuzu
Today's card is one of the most waited for cards
from this set. Kakuzu packs a punch so to say. Great
stats in healthy, good characteristics, and a nice
effect (even if just one).
When you start your turn, you can remove 4 Ninjas
from your opponent's Chakra or Discard pile (a total
of 4, meaning you can take out two from the Discard
and two from the Chakra) to put in play from your
Reinforcement Deck one Soul Ninja. Now, the Soul
Ninja in question is the "Four Souls of Kakuzu"
card, which goes in your Reinforcement Deck. This is
the only way to put this Ninja in play. Good thing
about the Four Souls is the fact that it's got good
stats, plus the effects (all valid)... but we'll
leave that for some other time. -.0
In Limited, I'm not sure if you'd use him, unless
you draft some more Water. In constructed, he could
be quite useful.
Today's card is one of the poster boys of Will of
Fire, Kakuzu. This review will be a tad bit short
since I'm having to do it on my phone so I can't see
the card.
For starters, Kakuzu has the usual T6 stats for a
water ninja; 6/4 healthy stats, and 5/1 injured.
Jonin and Mental Power 2 is nice and Rogue Ninja
makes him searchable via Invasion Akatsuki. I'm not
sure if Stitch CA will do anything though. His
effect is what makes him fierce. By killing off four
ninjas from your opponent's chakra and discard pile,
you put in play a power house that makes Kakuzu thee
ultimate chump blocker and can use any jutsu.
Additonally, his effect can be constantly used to
kill off your opponent's chakra which is a nice
bonus. A very strong first outing for Kakuzu.
Limited: 1/5 Might be hard to get this and the 4
souls
Constructed: 3.75/5 There are many other options for
this slot.
Block: 4/5 Better here, especially after rotation
