Beastly Mage
Detonating Bird: Mysterious Bird
Today's card is for Deidara decks. It only targets
Squads, and it removes them from play. Now, this
could be good sideboard material when facing
Squad-Heavy decks, which seem to be popping up
everywhere. You know the type: 15 Squads per
Reinforcement deck... 0.0
Other than that, I don't see that much use for this
card... =\

J-607 Detonating Clay: Mysterious Bird
Man, what a weird day! Finished off Res 5 again,
wasn't able to chill with my friend, but over all,
good day. Had a bit of a loss on the team, but
overall, I think it'll make things better. Beyond
that, candy for everyone!
Today's card is Detonating Clay: Mysterious Bird,
which is kind of a weird Deidara jutsu. I like how
specific it is, but I guess I should show you what
it does...so let's see it's effect, shall we:
Detonating Clay: Mysterious Bird:
Earth l One
Requirements: "Deidara"
Target: Each of your opponent's "Squad" Ninjas
Effect: Remove the target from game.
This is such a specific effect, it's beautiful.
With the super jutsu in the game, it's hard to see
this card seeing play, but after the format shift,
it could be a pretty decent card to side. It's a
side card hardcore, but a decent side card. It's
hard to elaborate on this card, as it's so simple,
and it really only has uses against a squad heavy
deck, but in that case, it's great.
Limited: 1/5 No chance in hell
Constructed: 1.5/5 It's too weak, especially in this
format
Block: 1.75/5 Until the shift, it won't be
great...but when it does...

is...MAGIC!/5
Today is one of those annoying Deidara jutsus that
will probably never be used. For one earth and one
colorless, you remove all your opponent's squads
from the game. Actually this jutsu might be played
in some Deidara decks.... Maybe...
Pros:
Can kill off a few of your opponent's annoying
squads
Cons:
Only user is a five drop which makes this jutsu
slow.
Situational
Limited: 1/5 The ONLY way this can be used is
against Sakura/Hinata (The only playable squad in
Set 16) and you are Deidara/Tobi, meaning you played
Tobi instead of using his awesome effect, to play a
subpar Platoon.
Constructed: 2.25/5 Deidara Decks might like it
Block: 2.25/5 All squads and Deidara are Block
legal...
