Chakra Slice
Today's card is one for the Medical Decks. The user
HAS to be a turn 3 or more to use this Jutsu. It
takes a Ninja with equal or lower turn cost than the
user and changes the target to injured status. Now,
this could be good, but sometimes it's better to
"damage" than to "change to injured". Still, it's
good.
Now, if the user has the Medicine CO, then you get
to bounce this Jutsu back to your hand when it
resolves. For two colorless, it's good.

J-609 Chakra Slice
God I hate April Fools day on the
internet...everyone's a comedian, thinking they have
the best joke out there...(BTW, mine was the best,
although it might of worked if it was the first
preview up there) Sigh, at least it ended
eventually...
Today's card is a jutsu that kind of works in
decks nowadays, but will probably work better in the
future after the block shift (I say that every
review, and one day it's gonna be true!) But let's
look at it's stats, shall we:
Chakra Slice Water
Two
Requirements: "Printed Entrance cost of 3 or more"
Target: 1 Ninja with an Entrance cost equal to or
lower than the user's
Effect: Change the target to injured status.
Additionally, if the user has a "Medicine" Combat
Attribute, move this Jutsu card to your hand.
And again, more forced Mastery. Why make it a
characteristic (and reduce stats for it) if all of
our jutsu has it? That's not cool at all! For it's
cost, it's really not that bad at all. Injuring a
ninja of lower turn cost could be pretty good to
turn off dangerous effects, which seem like they're
getting more and more common. Beyond that, med
pulling this back to hand is pretty good, as I've
seen med decks pulling pretty good chakra. Beyond
that, this is a simple enough card that can see play
in any deck, and isn't bad or decks that don't have
a lot of viable jutsu in them.
Limited: 4/5 Very solid for this format,
especially being colorless
Constructed: 2/5 Still too weak for this format,
sadly
Block: 2.25/5 A bit better here, but nothing that's
close to staple
Art: It slices, it dices...oh, I guess it doesn't.
It just slices...makes sense...order your Kabuto
