Beastly Mage
Kurenai Yuhi
Today's Exclusive Card is one very nice addition to
Kunoichi and Genjutsu decks. A Wind Ninja with great
stats (particularly the Support), Mental, and an
effect that could make your opponent think twice.
Let's say your opponent uses something like a
Chidori, or any Jutsu that targets a team rather
than just one Ninja. By paying two Wind Chakras, you
can apply that team-targeting effect on your
opponent's Ninja. That means that if your opponent
uses Chidori, and you pay Kurenai's effect cost,
your opponent's team will be getting the damage AND
go stand-by. Perfect card for controlling the
situation.

Today's exclusive preview is everyone's favorite
pregnant kunoichi, Kurenai. This Kurenai actually
has a nifty effect. When a ninja in her team becomes
the only target of your opponent's jutsu card, you
can discard two wind chakra to make that jutsu
target it's user instead. Personally, I would have
liked to see this on a jutsu instead of a ninja
since you have the element of surprise with a jutsu.
When she is on the field, it will only discourage
your opponent from using these jutsus, which is
still good. Her effect is kinda gimmicky, but it has
its purpose I guess. My main gripe with her is that
she is T5, since I prefer T4 Kurenai, but her stats
are good at least. I'm not entirely sure if she'll
see play or not.
Cons:
-Hand cost and effect cost make it unplayable in
Genjutsu (unless you are running a LOT of wind
cards)
-Effect won't really be played since your opponent
shouldn't be stupid enough to use a target-able
jutsu. They would only do so if they had two or more
to add to the chain so they could get around it
-Effect is not valid
-T5 is slowish
Limited: 1.5/5 Hand cost makes it hard to play as
well as specific chakra for the effect
