Itachi Uchiha
Today's card is a pretty good version of Itachi
that's not Akatsuki but Leaf. Test of Power has two
Valid effects. The first one makes it so your
opponent has to play with the hand revealed. So,
you're seeing whatever your opponent has in store
for you. This allows you to use the second effect.
If your opponent has two or more cards of the same
type (Ninja, Mission, Client, Jutsu) in the hand
then he gets a third Valid effect, which allows
Itachi to win you a Battle Reward whenever he scores
any sort of Victory. The first effect can be used
anywhere, but some would say that the second effect
is somewhat situational. Unless you're running a
Hand Control deck you'll probably kick off the
second effect a lot. This card is good in
Constructed, and in Limited he could be good even
with the hand cost. Notice he's got Ambush and Anbu
in the characteristics. He could fit into one deck
that promised to be fun in the future.

N -1058 Itachi Uchiha [Test Of Power]
===============================
Today's card is my favorite Itachi in the current
format for many reasons. For starters, he is Leaf
rather than Akatsuki, so he will not mess up a late
game Succeeded Will Of Fire. He also has Anbu, so he
is one of the best late game options for the future
Anbu decks when set 21 is released. Additionally, he
has Ambush, which is always a nice thing to have.
Making your opponent play with a revealed hand (and
for no cost to boot) can easily turn the game in
your favor, since you know all the tricks up their
sleeve. His secondary effect, which is not terribly
hard to pull off, since your opponent should be
holding on to at least two jutsus late game, makes
Itachi almost like a Kakashi Hatake [Early
Settlement] 2.0.
The only competition this card has right now is
Itachi Uchiha [Goal], who is also a powerful T5
ninja. If you are running SWOF, I would suggest
[Test Of Power], but otherwise, either Itachi is
fine, just a matter of preference. In the future,
however, this Itachi will see a lot of competition
with the new Itachis' in set 21.
